TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SHOW-ME CONFLICTED KANSAS CITY STAR JOINING FORCES WITH POWER BROKER POLSINELLI LAW FIRM LOBBYIST!!!
Some of the best Kansas City Insiders have warned us that our daily Dead Tree Media institution is desperately seeking tax breaks to keep their failing biz model alive.
More important than all of the reporters and support staff they're showing the door . . . Let's take a look at the some of the TOP POWER BROKERS IN KANSAS CITY taking up their cause.
To wit . . .
AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS REPORT A CURIOUS PARTNERSHIP BETWIXT THE KANSAS CITY STAR AND THE TOP LAW FIRM IN THIS TOWN!!!
Check it:
KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS TELL US: "Roxsen Koch was hired by the Star as their lobbyist in Jeff City. Koch is with the Possenilli law firm. Development attorneys for the self righteous Star?"
Check the Missouri Ethics website for lobbyist info and note that The Kansas City Star was just added to her list of principals on 3/16/2015.
Here qualifications are impressive:
"Roxsen represents developers, municipalities and taxing districts in all aspects of real estate development, including land use issues, acquisition, redevelopment and complex financings. She has negotiated many public and private financings and partnerships using various economic development tools. Roxsen has substantial experience in municipal tax-exempt financings."
Credit where it's due . . . There is no better option to chase tax breaks in the metro than these dudes . . . And given that Dead Tree Media is mostly reporting by way of presser from Mayor Sly's office, we doubt there will be much impact for a readership that's irrevocably in decline and mostly based on the last remaining people who clip coupons on Sunday.
Developing . . .
She's hot. Pro development agenda, explained.
ReplyDeleteI'd fuck her in the ass. Then cum all over her face and tits. I'd get some in her hair even if she has someplace to be afterwords.
ReplyDeleteThis lady is one hot commodity. AND an excellent lawyer as well!
ReplyDeleteYou need someone like this to grease palms, have the rules bent or rewritten in your favor, and to make sure taxpayers will be the ultimate guarantor of all the bad debt when it all comes crashing down.
ReplyDeleteBeware of wolves in sheeps clothing.
ReplyDeleteHot and deadly! She is the author of the original CID ordinance while at King Hershey. Her clients expect, and most often receive maximum incentives due to City Council connections.
ReplyDeleteSo what you're all saying is that The Star is too busy chasing tax breaks for their crystal print shop rather than report the real news? That sounds about right. I guess it's an effective business strategy but it's not journalism. You'd find better information on the AP wire and by looking at Facebook
ReplyDeleteTIFs and tax breaks may be legal. But they are to the point where they're unethical and immoral. The city is facing budget cuts, layoffs, tax increases, cuts in services and budget problems. The poor, the working people, taxpayers and homeowners are being forced to supplement the incomes of super rich lawyers, developers and corporations. For elected officials it just business as usual while they figure a way to put money in their own pockets.
ReplyDeleteI am fine with this business relationship as long as they disclose it whenever they report on any of the city's financial issues or along with all of Yael's pious editorials.
ReplyDeleteI don't care if they feather their nest while they can, but just don't lie to us about it. But then again I've lived in KC most of my life and it's just business as usual for here.
ReplyDeleteSo they got money for this but not to pay staff? Great decision guys!
ReplyDeleteLooks like she keeps a real clean unit.
ReplyDeleteWonder if she's also getting paid to find a buyer for some or all of the Star real estate downtown.
ReplyDeleteI heard they were trying to sell the old downtown building too.
ReplyDeleteHey where'd that comment go anyway? Can't handle the truth Botello? Loser...obviously in the Jew pocket.
I thought TKC was trying to get into the Illuminati? They rejected his application just like every other place.
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahahahaaha!
The name Koch does sound familiar
ReplyDeleteKoch made sure there were no minorities working on the apartment complex at Union Hill
ReplyDelete"New office tower on the Country Club Plaza. Roxsen Koch of Polsinelli PC, had to convince the Planned Industrial Expansion Authority that a property tax abatement was necessary to offset costs, such as the garage and demolition, that are not required by suburban office projects."
ReplyDeleteShe's the enemy.
I feel as ignorant right now as the person's statement made at 3:50 because I can't seem to get my reply to his remarks to post. With that being said, I hope you (Mr. too chicken to post your name) are proud of your intelligent and thoughtful comment? Yes, that was meant to be sarcastic! I hope one day you realize your extremely negative energy will circle back if it hasn't already. I assume by your comment, you are as unattractive on the outside as you are on the inside.
ReplyDeleteShe got the gaze of a crocodile
ReplyDeletePolsinelli Firm is about as ethical and fair as the Taliban.
ReplyDeleteHum!! I am curious if this person would have the guts to say those things in person???? If you are going to make a comment people, at least try to dignify them with facts and your identity.
ReplyDelete756, Botello's denizen. You are very correct. Its the Schilling/Judd situation. One day Tony will held responsible.
ReplyDeleteIt fun to watch these losers when they are called on it.
Hey Rhonda, word has it youj suck a really mean cock ? If so, meet me at JJ's tomorrow for lunch. I will be the tall, ruggedly handsome fucker sitting at the bar with my cock in one hand and drink in the other. You can't miss me.
ReplyDeleteThe Star is not really a newspaper anymore. They have fired nearly all their reporters, but have kept all their leftist opinion writers. At some point in the past, the Star crossed the line from being a news organization to being just a propaganda organ.
ReplyDeleteOh glazer.. Stop it!
ReplyDeleteHow's the TKC business model?
ReplyDeleteI think it's time to redefine what is considered leftist criticism
ReplyDeleteRhonda just wants to keep her job. You know she will cry when KU loses tomorrow. Oh yes Rhonda, I will be at the same party, snorting coke in the back room. I love the food and the host, you, not so much. Don't bring that crappy bean dip again.
ReplyDeletePlease allow me to introduce myself
ReplyDeleteI'm a lady of wealth and taste
5:08 you have posted the business plan for KCK's Corruption Central. This plan maintains the Mission Hills boy's in the style in which they have become very accustomed to. The political hacks keep smiling and telling us how great it all is. The Star is nothing more than a newsletter for their interests.
ReplyDeleteDo you imbeciles even know who I am!!!?? And, to the extremely demented being, in your dreams only! Your threats of sexual assault one day will catch up to you! Especially if you continue to do this to the women in this blog site. Are you actually Tony, just attempting to drum up the interest of all the sexually deviants men out there?
ReplyDeleteTony is a sincere piece of shit. He rationalizes but any post forefills his need for attention. He gets away with most of this because he does not get challenged. I would love for that to change.
ReplyDeleteI hope Tony starts to take the threats of sexual assault on his blog seriously very soon! It would be in his best interest to delet those sorts of illegal verbal assults! The women of KC are tired of it!
