Good for Jared Campbell . . . He's the first Kansas City council candidate to have a bit of fun with the campaign and offer a new look at local politics with a bit of election season parody.

Having fun with this process is important given that most of these elections will be decided over drinks.

I'm sure that Mr. Campbell knows that he might get a bit of push back from the d-bags on this blog for trying to have a sense of humor . . . But voters should respect his efforts nevertheless because he's at least attempting to get his message out there and encouraging people to vote.
