It's weird that Kansas City mainstream media has struggled and strained over suspect mugshots in the aftermath of the deadly Shawnee "She's A Pistol" gun shop robbery shootout.
It's public info, suspects are innocent until proven guilty and we post a great many mugshots of all kinds . . . It's up to the public to decide now . . .

Meanwhile, sweating demographic deets is a fool's errand. Regardless of demographics, the story of a gun shop shooting is big news and urban core crime moving to the suburbs is a trend that most other newsie outlets are afraid to address even despite the fact that KCMO plays a part in this tragic heist gone wrong.
Either way . . . Keeping mugshots off prime-time newscasts or so many stories about "healing" is a touchy subject. Very few newsies are confident in the face of accusations of racism so they back down.
TKC knows that EVERYONE IN KANSAS CITY IS BIGOTED AND HORRIBLE so it's no big deal to publish PUBLIC DOCUMENTS without regard to "journalistic" social niceties intended to keep the viewers/readers stupid.
Better for people to be offended than remain ignorant about the condition of their communities.
In much the same way that so many people in the Ward Parkway corridor forget that they're represented at the state level by a guy busted for weed violations . . .

If only the surgeons wouldn't have been so good. Maybe a pillow over the face, say he flat-lined and there was nothing they could do. These four will literally cost tens of millions of dollars for us to imprison the rest of their worthless lives. Maybe another inmate will do us all a favor and shank one or more to death.
