TASTE MORE KANSAS CITY CHOCOLATE ALE HYPE FROM BOULEVARD BREWERY!!!

Kansas City's Belgian corporate booze outlet is starting the Valentine's Day drudgery just a bit early.

Here's the word:

KMBC: Boulevard Brewing announces 2015 Chocolate Ale release dates

Deets:

"Delivery of kegs of Chocolate Ale to area restaurants will begin on Monday, February 2nd. Delivery of cases of bottles of Chocolate Ale will begin on Tuesday, February 3rd, the brewery said."

So, a great many hipsters will be on the prowl for this drink without remembering more than a few batches that left a sour aftertaste not so long ago.

There's no arguing with lovelorn local d-bags looking to get drunk and so we'll simply savor these last few moments before the "season of love" v-day onslaught that was probably nothing more than a conspiracy devised by a failing Kansas City corporate gift-card maker.

Developing . . .

  1. I had that stuff the year there were recalls on a few batches. Mine wasn't in the recall list but it still tasted like Ass. I'd rather spend my time and money in different Boulevard beers.

  3. Who sits and drinks beer while eating chocolate? Thats right nobody we all know. So I mean come on who wants a beer thats tastes like chocolate. This is a trendy thing for the whoever's that would drink it, if it contained cow piss all because it's a limited availability item and the trendy thing to do sort of like eating Joes Kansas City Bar-B- Que. Go to Woodyard now thats some good Ba-B-Que and have a cold Micro_Brew with dinner if you just have to feel trendy.

  4. So, are you hayseed rubes going to pay three times retail for a bottle this year to be part of the "elite" club?

Yep, I just know that you will.

  5. Literally, the Chocolate Ale is overrated. I didn't like it one bit. It didn't take like chocolate and it was a bad combination poor spending choice and bad beer. It's definitely all hype.

  6. Chocolate and beer do not go together. Now, of they had a slim Jim ale, that would work.
