Talk of price surging is one thing but our blog community has a far more important Kansas City safety advice.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY INSIDERS ARE TALKING SERIOUSLY ABOUT TAXI RIDER SAFETY IN THE WAKE OF SO MANY RIDE-SHARE HORROR STORIES!!!

Here's a sample:

 CBS Local: Former Uber X Driver Charged With Raping Passenger

 Mashable: Uber driver accused of rape after company promises better background checks

Exclusive behind the scenes on the political process . . . These stories are being used to advocate against the Kansas City ride share trend and right or wrong they are VERY EFFECTIVE in persuading local politicos.

Naturally, here @ TKC we don't encourage anybody to take a ride with anyone ever and realize that cars or simply telecommuting provide a much safer alternative than any over-hyped and perilous public transit.
