Another update on an Overland Park Murder Investigation: "Authorities are investigating after a man was murdered while warming up his car."
Paint peel, grass die, and crime goes up. The truths of what happens when black people move in. Of course the other murder in OP this year was black-on-black as well. Go ahead and call this racist but make another argument that builds a case for you. Point out what is untrue or incorrect as well.
ReplyDeleteDamn, grew up in that area. Of course that wan in the 70's, neighborhood was nothing like it is today. SM West isn't that bad, but the area around the school sure has begun to deteriorate. Must be the "Black Plague"

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, let's be clear that we're talking about a certain demographic. Plenty of people of all races follow the rules, live respectable lives, and take care of their property.
What you're talking about is the prevalence of lower middle/lower class Blacks who have largely given up attempting to advance themselves via education, hard work, etc., and are content to be wards of the state and just live day-to-day. Many of these folks live impulsively, not stopping to consider the consequences of their actions. "Do whatever you want, or die trying!" seems to be their motto.
While I feel your pain, remember that all of this is only possible because the government system in place allows it. Take away much of the free government benefits and people would be forced to support themselves and family, practice a decent level of public manners, and play by society's rules. Think of it as "tough love" like when a family confronts an abuser and delivers an ultimatum.
