The fight against horse carriages on the Country Club Plaza continued this weekend.
While the smell of horse crap in the air might seem quaint to some, these local activists argue against animal cruelty and have been hassling the owners of horse carriage rides during this winter season.
Arguments against horse drawn carriages on the Plaza are longstanding but KICK-ASS KANSAS CITY INSIDERS notice that this crew of protestors have stepped up their game and seems determined to stop a controversial bit of local transit.
Developing . . .
Why is a horse pulling a carriage cruel?
ReplyDeletewtf?
Why are protesters all douche looking shit bags ?
ReplyDeleteOnly the Mexican Domestic Terrorist can come up with this lame bullshit.
OMG! Protesting is so kewl! What should we protest tonight?
ReplyDeleteHere's a idea,
ReplyDeleteIf your so dumb to hold up a protest sign in the Plaza,You should be up to getting punched right in the neck.
Don't dare step on a cockroach, it's cruel and inhuman!! Also, you absolutely must be kind and refrain from any behaviour that might possible offend a NIGGER.
ReplyDeleteThese horses get pampered and treated better than this beardo and his fellow miscreant protestors treat their own fellow human beings.
ReplyDeleteI happen to know the "beardo" you're referring to and he's a good human being. That said, don't swing at him in a bar or he'll tear your ass up.
ReplyDeleteRight a good human being. Uh huh sure he is. I'd kick his lard ass in a second but my boot might get stuck in it.
ReplyDeleteAnother bearded, smug, punchable, lice chauffeur? Self-proclaimed “urban beardsman” try-hard who is actually a funemployed suburban hipster piece of shit?
ReplyDeleteJust another example of a bunch of fucktards with sharpies and a lot of time on their hands creating visual pollution for none to enjoy. Used to be shitheels like this donated their time to actually help a cause such as volunteer work at a hospital or the red cross. But that would actually involve doing something positive which is something these pussies aren't.
ReplyDeleteThe plaza reeks of horse urine. That alone is reason to ban the carriages.
ReplyDeleteHorses are forced to toil in all weather extremes, dodge traffic, and pound the pavement all day long. These gentle animals suffer from respiratory ailments because they breathe in exhaust fumes, and they develop debilitating leg problems from walking on hard surfaces. In some cases, horses have even dropped dead from a heatstroke after working in the scorching summer heat and humidity!
ReplyDeleteWhy don't they protest in Jamesport?
ReplyDeleteWho cares about this?
ReplyDeleteWell let me add also .. Humans are forced to toil in all weather extremes, dodge traffic, and pound the pavement all day long. These gentle (?) animals suffer from respiratory ailments because they breathe in exhaust fumes, and they develop debilitating leg problems from walking on hard surfaces. In some cases, humans have even dropped dead from a heatstroke after working in the scorching summer heat and humidity!
ReplyDeletereal talk 2:55
ReplyDeleteHumans are not Forced.....poor uneducated person....
ReplyDeleteYes, humans and horses are the same. Free will and slavery are the same. You are an idiot 2:55
ReplyDeleteHumans are not Forced to do anything until the bills are 30 to 60 days overdue and the phone starts ringing and the debt collectors start knocking.
ReplyDeleteOr the parents say your 38 fucking years old get a job and get your own goddamn place!!
Yep 3:47 Capitalism is pretty fucking stupid.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who is incapable of understanding why horses shouldn't be stuck in traffic with cars should go suck on a tailpipe for 6 hours and let us know how it goes.
ReplyDeleteLast night the horses, were being shot at by people with paintball guns.
ReplyDelete12:14 pm, by "tear that ass up" do you mean like the way he fucked you dead up the ass last night while waving his protest sign wildly ?
ReplyDelete"Tear that ass up". That fat fuck could not tear up a fucking head of lettuce.
Shut the fuck up u idiot.
Is this the dude who with his beardo partner are playing with “re-purposed” materials in a Ye olde shoppe on a gritty urban CK street under the guise of “helping the environment”.
ReplyDeleteHey, there’s a first time for everything. Yawn
Looks like some identical-looking, bearded, thick-frame glasses wearing, flannelled, fauxhemian hipster trying to be some transplanted unique gift to our city even though he looks exactly like 2,000 other beardos in that same zipcode.
ReplyDeleteLet me guess he does this just to annoy people riding the carriages and to get his LOOK AT ME!!!! dosage for the week.
ReplyDeleteHow come he's not protesting the horse meat industry?
ReplyDeleteDo they understand that the reason 99% of the people around them don’t want to stop to dance with them and laugh with them is because they have lives and things to do?
ReplyDeleteWow you people must really hate beards. Daddy issues? Maybe you should have a protest against beards.
ReplyDelete8:46, read 1:28 to get an answer to your question.
ReplyDeleteBetter yet lets get Tony to boycot beards.
ReplyDeleteLooks like CK has an endless supply of birds nest beardos, faux foodies and overnight artists these days.
ReplyDeleteWE ARE BEARDO. WE ARE LEGION.
ReplyDeleteI Call HORSESHIT!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe top photo shows a guy holding a printed sign saying "BOYCOTT THE...." and he's handwritten the word "Carriages" in the blank space.
So, is he a professional protester with a supply of preprinted signs?
I think I saw him a few weeks ago at the Olathe courthouse with a sign reading "BOYCOTT THE Marriages" He seems to be a lazy protester, only altering one letter per protest!
I say we start protesting the protesters
ReplyDeleteLumbersexuals. Google it. Fucking kc is crawling with them, from Waldo to the Rivermarket
ReplyDeleteRun the assholes over with tanks. It worked in China.
ReplyDeleteWow! The people of Kansas City have spoken! Even though the protesting crowd was mostly attractive women in their mid twenties, let's all speak ill of the poor smiling guy with the beard. He must be a real of of shit to be taking time on his weekend to speak up for the animals. Maybe instead of bashing people who have chosen a problem in KC and are trying to educate people about said problem, you should get off your ass and do something for a cause you are passionate about. But no, let apathy and bitching reign. It has been a long standing issue that the horse carriages are a mess on the plaza. They are stuck in deadlock traffic with exhaust in their faces, subs shaking the whole block, hauling fifteen fat asses at a time. What on earth is okay with that?
ReplyDeleteand hey… can the sign police up there make a fancier sign then if this one is not clear enough? If you can read the fucking sign, then it served it purpose.

ReplyDelete"Whats Your Sign said...

Hold the phone…who is the "fucktard"? Probably you, dumbshit who has no clue what he is talking about. All of these people work full time careers with full educational backgrounds. Fucktards don't hit the pavement to do something toward positive change, they sit around like you judging people who ARE doing something and then discounting them as not. How the fuck do you know that this is all they are doing (it is not). Holding signs to get people educated on an issue is only ONE aspect of what these people do to make changes. It is just asinine that people like you don't understand that people who are active in speaking up for change are not just one topic driven. You don't think that they probably do volunteer work too? Speak up for human rights too? It's all one in the same. Crazy concept, I know. Some people can do MORE THAN ONE THING. Go eat another donut and continue comment bullying, fucktron.
