KANSAS CITY DEADLY SUNDAY STABBING AMID END OF YEAR HOMICIDE SPIKE!!!

The conclusion of this year in Kansas City has featured a notable increase in killing which might signal that so-called progress in curbing the local murder rate isn't as significant as some suggest.

KCTV5 - Stabbing victim dies at hospital, homicide detectives investigate: "Kansas City police were called about 8:30 a.m. Sunday to the 5300 block of Scarritt Avenue on a disturbance call involving two people. When officers arrived on the scene, they located a man who was stabbed multiple times. Police said the stabbing took place inside the man's home. Police said there is no suspect description at this time."

There are great many reasons for this trend but let's examine a few right now.

- Kansas City Earned FBI's Most Dangerous City Ranking And MSM Glossed Over This Tragic Stat

- The way Kansas City homicides are counted has significantly changed and MSM didn't really report that either. But even these new rules feature some noted local increases.

- All numbers revert back to the mean . . . A really tragic note about stats for Sunday but something that's at least worthy of consideration along our faith journey.

And so, what we're faced with is a commendable community effort to lower crime stats that (with a bit of optimistic with the numbers from local officials) that is now confronted with a cold rise in Kansas City killing amid the holiday season and as elections approach.
