SHOCK!!! WYCO FIRE DUDE STAYS WINNING AGAINST CONTROVERSIAL DUI CHARGE!!!

About a year ago, the Wyandotte County district attorney's office charged a top ranking fire dude with drunk driving but a bit of legal wrangling and a lot of people looking out for the best interest of the guy involved results in no real consequences despite a crash that damaged the neighborhood around the guy.

One AWESOME TKC READER asks: WyCo "good 'ol boy" politics???

You decide:

MUST SEE RYAN KATH KSHB REPORT: WyCo judge throws out blood test for KCK assistant fire chief suspected of alcohol-related crash

Meanwhile, a tidbit that resonated with TKC was an account of neighborhoods wanting to help out with crash pix but then deciding against it as the case against the fire dude fell apart. #WhitePeopleStopSnitchinToo

  2. This is nothing new Tony. Remember the KCPD Deputy Police Chief who went to a bar in Lee's Summit then wrecked his city police car while drunk? Then the Lee's Summit cop gets on the stand and says he forgot to read the deputy chief his rights. There there was the City manager in Independence who got drunk and got caught getting head in the alley. Then there is the female KCPD Officer who got shit faced and assaulted a State Trooper and other officer and that incident seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. And then there are the dozens of cops up north who get plastered every weekend and they get a pass to drive home on a regular basis. Hell, its the bureaucrats and public officials that are the worst at setting the example. Welcome to the KC Metro.
