ReplyDeleteWe cut Succop to save $1.5 million dollars. That is the paltry sum, by NFL standards, that was the difference between Santos (2 for 4 this year) and Succop's (5 for 5) salary this year.

No one can outspend anyone in the NFL with the salary cap. Clark Hunt can't be cheap--there are penalties for underspending per NFL rules. What the Chiefs were was stupid in the way they spent their money.
