MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY RISING STAR POLITICAL GROUP 'WE THE PEOPLE' PROTEST CONTROVERSIAL CITY HALL NO BID AMBULANCE BILLING CONTRACT!!!
This afternoon an important Kansas City protest over City Hall tactics took place on the steps of 12th and Oak.
Accordingly . . .
KANSAS CITY POLITICAL ACTION GROUP 'WE THE PEOPLE' TOOK THEIR PROTEST TO CITY HALL AND ARGUED AGAINST A CONTROVERSIAL NO BID AMBULANCE BILLING SERVICE CONTRACT!!!
Remember that a coalition of grassroots activists and labor leaders garnered more than 10,000 petition signatures in opposition to the effort to outsource and privatize this vital city service.
In addition to objections over the no-bid contract, protestors also wanted to share their concerns over privacy concerns facing the troubled company that is now consulting City Hall.
Protestors aren't allowed to carry signs into Council Chambers so this group of at least two dozen (assembled in hourly shifts) was turned away.
However, Bishop Tony Caldwell and "We The People" plan to continue their protests for greater transparency and against no bid contracts awarded by the Mayor and his City Council alliance.
Developing . . .
City Hall is as corrupt as ever. Good for this group for calling them on it. The City has taken a turn for the worse and everyone needs to step up to stop the trend.
ReplyDeleteWe The People will be back several times this week to address this issue and the city code INSPECTORS

ReplyDeleteMr. Tony,
ReplyDeleteIf those law abiding protesters were told that signs were not allowed in our city hall they were told a pack of lies.
Today is 9/11. We have gotten much worse in regard to government transparency. Then again, what can we expect when a broad like Cindi Circo is mayor pro-tem.

.......meanwhile, in REAL NEWS.....
ReplyDeleteWhile most Americans were watching sports, movies, celebrity gossip sites, or playing video games while eating junk food.....President Obama addressed the nation, explaining he will authorize the bombing of Syria.
Unbeknownst to the sheeple, Iran and Syria (the Shia powers) have a preexisting signed mutual military aid agreement, in which if one country is attacked, the partner will launch retaliation attacks against the aggressor.
Has President Obama secretly arranged a deal with Iran, to sever their agreement with Syria's President Assad? Or has President Obama just committed the United States of America to war with the Syria/Iran partners?
.....you may now return to your previously scheduled evening of Call of Duty, the Kardashians, and the ESPN report.
