CELEBRATE KANSAS CITY PLANET COMICON MARCH 13-15 2015 ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Just last night the good folks from Kansas City Planet Comicon announced their 2015 convention will be held March 13th through March 15th, 2015.

Organizers are billing it as "Kansas City’s largest comic book and pop culture convention, will feature star guests from the worlds of comics, cosplay, television, movies, and more."

"The 2015 show will be bigger than ever before, with more than 300,000 square feet of exhibit space and more than 100,000 square feet devoted to panel programming events. In addition to using more of Bartle Hall, the show is expanding to the convention center’s Grand Ballroom for the first time.

“Our largest panel room will now seat 2,500 people, which is double the capacity of our biggest hall last year,” convention director Chris Jackson said. “This new massive room will feature live presentations by celebrities from franchises like Star Wars, Star Trek, and Doctor Who. It will also be the stage for our extremely popular costume contest.”

More interesting than the GOP Convention . . . This bit of "creative community" tradition has a vast connection to REAL local "creative class" but isn't celebrated by our Mayor because Global Prairie can't wrap their head around people sharing their ideas without charging consulting fees.
