DEBUTED FIRST ON TKC . . . THAT'S THE SPIFFY AND BRAND NEW JOLIE JUSTUS KANSAS CITY 4TH DISTRICT CITY COUNCIL CAMPAIGN WEBSITE!!!

Admittedly, the website is slick and even works well on mobile . . . The "news" section is mostly filled with Dead Tree Media complimentary coverage reminding us that Jolie is a favorite of the corridor cocktail crowd who dabbles in politics and supports candidates who are entertaining and match their new sofa . . . 3rd District Council Dude Jermaine Reed . . . We're all looking at you!!!

More importantly, checking campaign finance reports it's strange to see that current Missouri State Senator Jolie Justus only has about $650 in her campaign coffers so far. Politicos who want desperately to believe that community work and not just name recognition and local celebrity status is important to voters hope that the $100,391.20 Jolie has in her State Senate coffers will be harder to transfer than usual . . . The reality is that a skilled political consultant can reroute that cash with less than a few mouse clicks.

So far, there's not a lot of info about her plans for City Council except for a memo that touts Jolie's ability to give good meetings:

"I learned very quickly the best way to approach even the toughest problem is to gather available data and opinions, then work with all stakeholders to develop a pragmatic solution that produces real results.

That is why I want to continue my service as your City Councilperson. I am meeting with hundreds of people throughout Kansas City to discuss how we can make the greatest city in the world even better."

The graphics on that page show her reading to some rugrats who don't vote and then talking to some old guy who might be so out of it that he doesn't realize that there's no point trying to mack to her.

But I digress . . . By far Jolie has the best Kansas City Council campaign website of all council hopefuls. She's the only politico who has been openly anointed as a successor by a sitting Council member because Jan Maracson wants to make sure that limousine liberals keep control of the 4th . . . And Mayor Sly is very friendly to her online . . . Also, Jolie has been touted by MSNBC as a rising Missouri political star AND for better or worse, she's the small town celebrity candidate for voters who don't really understand the local legislative process and her limited to non-existent accomplishments in the Republican controlled State Senate.
