Right now we're FIRST to report a recent topic of RAGE in South Kansas City that's being kept hidden from the public.

To wit . . .

SOME OF THE VERY BEST SOUTH KANSAS CITY TKC TIPSTERS ARE WORRIED ABOUT TRANSPARENCY IN THE CERNER DEVELOPMENT AND TALK THAT A FIRE STATION COULD BE SACRIFICED TO CERNER!!!

Here's the word . . .

"Continuing rumors that the fire station at 93rd and Hillcrest in the middle of the Cerner redevelopment will be torn down. The city and fire department are trying to avoid this discussion until after the fire tax is renewed. Because this is less than 20 years old, so all taxpayers (north, south and midtown) get to pay for a gift to Cerner. When the fire department says they do not have enough money. Cerner will never provide maps at community meetings . . . "

Now, what's important here is that already we can tell that Cerner isn't being very up front with neighbors AND yet another confirmation that Kansas City local government is willing to pay any price to accommodate corporate overlords.
