TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! POLLING REVEALS KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR PHASE DEUX STAYS LOSING!!!

Behind the scenes some of Kansas City's top consultants and politicos are in a panic over recent polling data for the upcoming election . . .

To wit . . .

KICK-ASS KANSAS CITY INSIDERS REVEAL THAT THE LATEST POLLING INDICATES THE TOY TRAIN STREETCAR STAYS LOSING IN SOME PARTS OF THE PROPOSED TDD BY A MARGIN OF 2-1!!!

MOREOVER . . . THE TOY TRAIN STREETCAR IS STRUGGLING THROUGHOUT MIDTOWN AMONG FREQUENT VOTERS!!!

There's a lot of reasons why voters are turning against the toy train . . .

There are concerns about infrastructure spending . . .

Worries about damage to neighboring properties during the construction process . . .

Like it or not, crime and toy train codes of behavior remain a big concern when voters are asked off the record.

Small biz has stated their streetcar opposition . . .

Of course, the cost and taxes are always a big debate . . .

Who knows why voters are turning against the streetcar extension???

(TKC hint: It's the crime)

However, what we do know for sure is . . .

BAD POLLING NUMBERS FOR THE TOY TRAIN STREETCAR PHASE DEUX HAVE SENT CONSULTANTS INTO A PANIC AND THEY'RE DESPERATE TO FIND SOMETHING GOOD ABOUT THE TRAGIC VOTER PREVIEW SO CLOSE TO THE ELECTION!!!

Think about it . . . If the numbers would have been great, we'd be seeing them on the front page of the Star. Now, all we can expect is some spin to contradict this report from THE MOST KICK-ASS KCMO INSIDERS . . .

A polling expert puts it this way . . .

"Other than the consultants, there's no natural constituency for streetcar and that's their problem. There's nobody who will be getting out of bed on election day and getting really fired up to vote for this thing. And that's what you need."

Now, a caveat to this report is that the Missouri Transportation Tax is doing okay and toy train advocates are going to try and obfuscate their FAIL by using those numbers to trick media newsies who aren't paying attention.

Meanwhile, the list of toy train streetcar advocates who aren't getting cut a check is shrinking.
