Kansas City scholars should find a bit of inspiration in recent salary reporting.
Take a look at this bloggy note:
Turner Report: A complete listing of Missouri school superintendent 2013-2014 salaries
This public info reveals that the honcho of Kansas City Public Schools Stephen Green, Ed.D really should smile a lot more . . .
THE $250K SALARY FOR DR. GREEN IS ONE OF THE HIGHEST IN THE METRO AND A QUARTER OF A MILLION BUCKS ANNUALLY TO MANAGE A DISTRICT TEETERING ON THE BRINK OF TAKEOVER ISN'T A BAD DEAL!!!
Remember, Dr. Green can also earn up to $150k more for performance incentives but the requirements are probably a bit more strict than recent hype about a bit of minor test score improvements.
Another bonus . . . Does he still live in Basehor, Kansas???
Either way, the lesson here is that Kansas City leaders are still earning impressive paydays without much improvement in beleaguered local institutions.
Developing . . .
Just brutal.
ReplyDeleteWho in the fuck decides that $250K is the appropriate wage for this cross-eyed nigger?? Really, what fucking cretin thinks that this animal is worth anywhere near that???
ReplyDeleteOnce he puts in 30 years he will most likely get a six figure retirement indexed for inflation for the rest of his life.
ReplyDeleteThis salary is utter horseshit when this entire District fails to educate its 12,000 children. Who approves this outrageous theft?? Airwick West?
ReplyDeleteHe is worth every penny and more. He has completely turned the district around.
ReplyDeleteI mean, rapes are a little up but nobody is perfect.
When you look at government as merely a taxpayer-funded cash cow to be milked regardless of how little you accomplish in a job, there's never such a thing as getting too much money.
ReplyDeleteWhere did $16 million go through the Green Impact Zone?
How about $16-20 million every year that disappears through COMBAT?
How did the East Patrol KCPD project go over 40% over budget?
Not to mention "projects" like Citadel Plaza or 18th and Vine.
And the hits just keep on coming.
KCMO voters prove they're masochists election after election. They just can't get enough of that status quo.
another in a long line of Negro GRIFTERS in the
ReplyDeleteKilla City pipeline
Looks like Ray Lewis daddy. Nah, can't be. Ray don't know his daddy.
ReplyDeleteI've always felt the superintendent salary was high, but think about how stressful that job must be. Plus, the school board earns $0 so if you divide $250K by nine it's not really that much. If anyone should be complaining it's them.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the KC School District where no one can run a school system, but they sure know how to burn through that tax payer money
ReplyDeleteSalary might be high, but who would really want to manage the "KCMO Titanic" for less?
ReplyDeleteOf course he asks for a lot, because he knows he'll be gone in three years. Most likely unemployed after the State of Missouri takes over the district.
To say Green hasn't made any improvements is bullshit. In 2012 KCPS had an MSIP5 score of 27 out of 140. 70 points are needed for provisional accreditation. In 2013 KCPS had an MSIP5 score of 84 out of 140. Keep in mind the number of kids who don't even speak English is increasing by a couple of percent every year now. Moreover the parents don't even bother to send the kids to school(KCPS has an attendance rate 10-15% lower than most districts).
ReplyDeleteThe whole "chase the superintendent out of town" thing is a little old and has very rarely worked out.
Just one more reason that KCMO is a swirling turd in the toilet bowl. FFFlllluuuuussssshhhhhh!
ReplyDeleteHELL YES!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI make a SWEET 250K + incentives + retirement funding + perks
AND
I got an exemption allowing me to live in KANSAS!!!!!!! SUCKERS!!!!!
Dr. Green is only one of MANY who FEED AT THE TROUGH WHICH IS KCMO.
It's not that much of a salary for the size of school district, dumb ass.
ReplyDeleteTitle should be "Superintendent/Warden"
ReplyDeleteWhat a great job-school superintendent. Government checks, benefits, bonus for schools closing and a huge bonus for resigning. Failure pays.
ReplyDeleteHe is paid less than that POS city manager Troy Schulte.
ReplyDelete$30k less than Lee's Summit. OK!
