It's looking like the winter of discontent for the Kansas City Chiefs.
To wit . . . And yet another mixed metaphor for this post . . .
THE VEIL HAS BEEN LIFTED AND NOW THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS DON'T LOOK SO FORMIDABLE GIVEN TWO LOSSES IN ROW!!!
Sure, it was close and the lead switched back and forth 8 times . . .
But other aspects of the game are far more important . . .
- Once again The Chiefs barely touched the opposing quarterback and Philip Rivers DOMINATED Kansas City passing for 392 yards.
- Accordingly, with Tamba Hali out . . . THE PASS RUSH HAS DISAPPEARED.
- Again, the O-Line was nothing special and pretty much fell apart.
- Yet another unimpressive performance for Chiefs QB Alex Smith . . . Opposing a real quarterback, he looks like nothing more than a talented amateur.
- In the clutch and at home . . . The Chiefs simply don't have what it takes.
So it turns out that all of the bravado after the loss to Denver was just more empty Kansas City talk and hype.
TOP LEVEL TKC FOOTBALL EXPERTS ARE ALREADY PREDICTING THAT DENVER WILL DEFEAT THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS NEXT WEEK AT ARROWHEAD AND THE TEAM WILL PRETTY MUCH GET SMACKED AROUND FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON!!!
Like it or not, the Chiefs don't look like playoff material late in the season as attrition takes its toll and typical fanboy denial about the reality of the team peaking far too early begins . . . Now.
Developing . . .
TKC. You GOTTA admit that it was a good game.
ReplyDeleteThey should be starting Chase Daniel.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you about one thing. You could hear a pin drop in that stadium after San Diego scored the game winning TD.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't kc EVER have good niggers!!?!
ReplyDeleteHow bout them Chargers?
ReplyDeleteWill CK survive two losses in a row without falling into clinical depression.
ReplyDeleteTwo week break screwed up the momentum.
ReplyDeleteChiefs are in big trouble now....signed S. Sharpe
ReplyDeleteOh well, it was still fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's always entertaining watching the blacks perform!
Wrong again TKC. Chiefs will WIN BIG against the Broncos. You heard it here FIRST. Bitch.
ReplyDeleteWith the Chiefs probably loosing at least 3 of the next 5 games I'd say we have seen the best of the season. Given that, it has been a terrific season given the Chiefs track record over the past decade. We can also be darn thankful we have not had to play the Saints nor Seattle so far this season. We will go to the playoffs thanks to so many really bad teams in the NFL, but I will be absolutely speechless if the Chiefs get past the second round. However, given this is Andy's first season in KC and all the rookies the head coach deserves a trophy for what he has accomplished. I can't wait to see what he does to enhance the Chiefs game next year.
ReplyDeleteWe be smokin weed and gotz ma blond ho ditch an i 9-0! what mo i need???? maybe mo weed! i DID go two universaty fo ma edumakashun.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what game you were watching but Smith had a pretty solid game.
ReplyDeleteToo bad we can't have offense and defense show up at the same time. If you want to place blame on anybody how about the DB's that couldn't cover your grandma.
Why are the cheerleaders baring their midriffs?
ReplyDeleteBecause they are stupid, desperate, or both.
ReplyDelete"I don' give a shit if we wins or not." "Jus' giz me my mutha-fuckin' check."
ReplyDeleteWe love you,Hunt Family.
ReplyDeleteThank you for everything!
It was a great game. Not nearly as bad as TKC describes, but the D will be hampered without Hali. Hope he's not hurt toon bad.
ReplyDeleteHave not checked in since I left Kansas City, but man this blog is about hate and unhappiness. My kid is pulling for the Chiefs out of home team loyalty and she does not even live there anymore.
ReplyDeleteLot of hate and racism left behind.
try living here 7:12 and your opinion would change
ReplyDeleteToo bad the chiefs suffered some injuries to key players early on...
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the fact that KC Wolf nearly died yesterday practicing for a stunt, breaking his back! He was in surgery on Sunday morning. The wolf you saw today was a backup... Get well soon Dan! Praying for you and your recovery!!
ReplyDeleteDid live there.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the wolf.I hadn't heard about that.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least the Chiefs did not blow a 24 point lead and then lose!! Take that Broncos!!
ReplyDeleteTony Hates Kansas City, thats what this blog should be called.
