Finally, some Kansas City Chiefs fanboy contributed something somewhat worthwhile . . . If only because it offers yet another glimpse into the twisted psyche of local football fans.
The clip:
Morgan Freeman Talks to Chiefs Fans!!
Click the link to check out the phony artist's statement . . .
What's more entertaining is to remember that the vast majority of this video passage is taken from Lean On Me wherein Morgan Freeman is playing principal Joe Clark and reminding the audience of all the po'folk whites who couldn't afford to bail on a public school attempting a turnaround. It was actually a pretty nice scene.
And so . . .
Chiefs fans compliment themselves on their whiteness and loyalty to African-American celebrities during harsh times.
It's not exactly motivational. In fact, if we thought about it enough it might even be racist . . . But only toward the working poor white people who do more with their time than cheer at football games and seemingly want a prize for it.
Nice speech to those kids, but like Obama's speeches, well thought out and captivating, they still produce zilch.
ReplyDeletePublic schools are in chaos because of African American culture, period, end of fuckin report.
Not because of a lack of white guilt, or a lack of good intentions, but from with in African American, entitled, violent and ignorant culture.
It's the entitlement that breeds the violence and ignorance by demeaning and degrading all that African Americans might accomplish were they to compete as equals instead of from privilege.
ReplyDeleteNice job, but perhaps still a wee bit premature.
ReplyDeleteNow irony would be if, by season's end, we see Mr. Morgan Freeman reappear in a Chief's remake of "Driving Miss Daisy"...

Freeman is the driver, with Chiefs players piled into the backseat.
THUGS ARE AT THE WHEEL FOR ACA.
