Tony, I have been a Pittsburgh Pirates fan since I was a little boy. Roberto Clemente was my childhood hero. My first Spanish lesson was learning to pronounce Manny Sanguillen's name correctly.
ReplyDeleteMy beloved Pirates have suffered 21 losing seasons in a row. Today, they are the best team in baseball. What happened? They 'fired' the entire team & started over. Nothing but rookies & a veteran catcher. I watched them play on television last night & according to the announcers, this catcher has made the difference. Everyone focuses on the pitchers. Its the catchers who are the 'real' baseball players.
At some point the Royals have to stop pretending that if they tweak this or that, it will make them a contender. I think they should follow the Pirates example & 'fire' the entire team & start over. This rebuilding only took the Pirates a couple of seasons, while the belief that tweaking this or that can make them a contender can lead to 21 losing seasons in a row.
This proves that you, Byron truly are a DIPSHIT. Pitchers are the most important players, and they are "real" players..........duh.
