KANSAS CITY ALREADY PREDICTING VICTORY OVER CLAY CHASTAIN'S MISSOURI SUPREME COURT LIGHT RAIL LAWSUIT!?!?!

KC Biz Journal on Clay Chastain's case and a bit of odds-making: "Danny Rotert, a spokesman for Kansas City, said the city expects to have the court rule in their favor. He said the Kansas City Council rejected the Virgina-based Kansas City community activists' 2011 initiative petition to put a $2.5 multimodal regional rail transit plan on the city's ballot on the grounds that it was not feasible and illegal to pursue. Then, the Council rejected Chastain's plan, Rotert said, because in Missouri it is unconstitutional to approve a public spending plan that is not fully funded."

  1. Danny better take a look at the proposed streetcar project. Seems like every week they are throwing more funds at it. If it was not fully funded up front, then he is calling it illeagal.

  3. 3:26, the funding mechanism for the streetcar is in place. Shitstain's poppycock plan did not have a funding mechanism, and only talked about the possibilities of donations, grants, and other things that might or might not happen.
