Austerity has scaled back military tradition in Kansas City and other places.
Example:
Fox4: Kansas City isn’t the only city in the U.S. feeling the disappointment from cancelled air shows. Federal budget cuts are taking a toll on air shows around the country.
Money quote: "FOX 4 News has learned that the cutbacks have affected more than 200 of the approximately 300 air shows held in the U.S. each year."
Thankfully, TOP LEVEL TKC TOP ECHELON TIPSTERS are thinking creatively about this dilemma that's not just local.
EXCLUSIVE QUOTE FROM A TOP ECHELON TIPSTER!!! Check it: "Kansas City officials dabbling in aviation are suggesting something for next year that could impact the entire nation. The military really needs to think about letting drones take the lead in upcoming airshows. Like it or not, drones are the future of flight and U.S. military air power. So there's no reason to stick with pushing outdated pilots guzzling gas. Drone teams would be cheaper and provide a much more accurate view of how the military maintains air superiority throughout the world."
Another sign of the future . . .
Recently . . .
Drones fly in huge Star Trek emblem formation over London
And now the question goes out to you d-bags . . .
WOULD GO YOU SEE DRONE FORMATIONS INSTEAD OF OLD SCHOOL PILOTS AT A FUTURE KANSAS CITY AIRSHOW?!?!
Personally, I think airshows need to feature more hotties . . .
But then, that's my suggestion for most events.
However . . .
Drones are better than nothing but kind of reveal that technology is once again destroying outdated notions about glamor associated with combat.
DEVELOPING . . .

ReplyDeleteAir shows are disgusting and wasteful war machine propaganda. Good riddance.
