TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! MANY MISSOURI STONERS SKIP 4/20 WEED SMOKING IN FAVOR OF WORKING ON MARIJUANA DECRIMINALIZATION EFFORTS!!!

4/20 weed day is really nothing more than a myth that was invented by bored newsies. Today we have word that politically active Kansas City stoners are skipping the so-called tradition that's mostly urban legend.
To wit . . .
MARIJUANA ENTHUSIASTS IN MISSOURI ARE SKIPPING THE 4/20 OCCASION EN MASSE AND FOCUSING THEIR ATTENTION ON LEGISLATIVE EFFORTS TO 'LEGALIZE IT' INSTEAD!!!
In fact . . . There's a realization that authorities are more in tune with this occasion than anybody else and 4/20 is really just an excuse to crack down on weed smokers and dealers despite an overall shift in public perception regarding the use and distribution of marijuana.
One stoner shared this message with us:
"4/20 should be renamed 'undercover' day because it's really just a time when authorities want to crack down on us . . . All of my friends lit up on Friday night and we're taking Saturday off."
Skipping a few days after a smokeout seems like a wise choice. I wouldn't know. I don't even want to think about my snack cake cravings if weed ever came into play . . . But I digress.

What's more interesting there is the focus on legislation among the more motivated Missouri Marijuana enthusiasts.
Remember:
- In Columbia, Missouri Weed Laws have been toned down considerably.
- Dems in the Missouri House have proposed lighter penalties for weed charges.
- And a recent survey revealed that half of Missouri voters favored legalizing marijuana.
So, the realization here is that 4/20 is a cheap gimmick and working on real legislative reform is a much more enlightened route.
A somewhat recent conversation with liberty activist Eapen Thampy echoed this sentiment:
"Things are moving at a very fast pace to push Missouri toward Marijuana decriminalization," Mr. Thampy said. "The support that we've found is overwhelming and generally people think that ending this aspect of the drug war would benefit nearly everyone."
And so . . . A great many politically active stoners are reportedly going to sit out 4/20 weed smoking today and try to take advantage of these High Times for changing attitudes regarding marijuana in Missouri and throughout the nation.
