We need Jef City to take over all of KCMO's corrupt government.
ReplyDeleteGood. I don't understand what the hold up is. This town is full of lazy do-nothings. It's all about the hand you can shake and the baby's you can kiss. It's quite pathetic.
ReplyDeleteKCPS seem to be doing better. I highly doubt though that test scores will increase enough to reach provisional accreditation. That would take quite an improvement if you know what they met last year and what they need to meet to reach prov accreditation. That type of improvement usually takes several years, if not longer, to achieve. Seems like they only got serious about student achievement with the threat of a takeover.
ReplyDeleteHey 10:18, I hope you weren't serious. "Improvement takes several years." How many is several? Let's see, it has been about 40.
ReplyDeleteI know! We can spend lots of money, and they they will come. Oh, wait a minute, we already did that too.
totally made up item; you'll notice the link goes to some crime commission story instead of news on KCPS...
ReplyDeletetkc's just flat out lying any more.
It's not made up. It does link to the wrong article but if you scroll down a little a link to the correct one is there.

1:28 - I meant with the intensity and focus that we are seeing from the admin, teachers and board this year. We haven't seen anything like this before.
