Kansas City's Downtown becomes nothing but a big hot mess this Spring/Summer . . .

MoDot plans to make a horrible mess of just about everything in the loop very soon. Check the timeline.
MoDot offers a bit of advice for surviving the hot mess . . . Most people will simply detour straight to their favorite Johnson County city.
Why not just AVOID KANSAS CITY altogether?
ReplyDeleteDon't get it, Tony. You complain about "crumbling streets" then you complain when they fix them.
ReplyDeleteSo if this is "poorly timed" when is the best time to fix bridges and ramps?
Would somebody tell MoDot to save their money. We don't need roads, everybody will be riding the streetcar.
ReplyDeleteSince no one will be able to get into downtown KC and the streets will be empty, they should use this time to dig up inside the loop and lay the track for Sly's toy train.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit. I looked at that map and all routes I take to get to my office downtown will be blocked. This will add 15 minutes to my drive time.
ReplyDeleteCan we show this map to our bosses to explain why we'll all be late for work for 6 months?
3:54 Can you possibly get up 15 minutes earlier and accept life in a city? You're typical of TKC commentariat. Lazy, no regard for personal responsibility, and whiny.
ReplyDelete12:29, you must be new here. Welcome to the comment sewer.
