An interesting item from yesterday's Council Session . . .
TAKE A LOOK AT JEREMY PLOEGER AND THE KC RENEGADES INDOOR FOOTBALL TEAM EARNING A PROCLAMATION IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL!!!
130192 - Welcoming the Renegades Indoor Football Team to Kansas City and Kemper Arena.
This is a big deal for many reasons but mostly because Kansas City's elite Kemper Family is arguing that the stadium bearing their name is beyond saving . . . Meanwhile, there's mounting evidence to the contrary.
DEVELOPING . . .
Take a look at that fat cow you all keep calling mayor. You can not only see a cow when passing through Kansas City but you can see one at City Hall too. Great marketing strategy for the City.
ReplyDeleteWill they bid the team a fond farewell when the financial scandal breaks and Ploeger becomes someone's jailhouse bitch?
ReplyDeleteThis Renegades thing will end badly. Jeremy is telling people that the team is broke already.
ReplyDeleteThis first game against Omaha could actually be a big boost for the Wendy's restaurant chain. If the Omaha team arrives late for the game, all the fans are going to start chanting "Where's The Beef".
ReplyDeleteThis will be the second biggest disaster at Kemper right behind the roof collapse.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fucking joke. A half assed sports team league is the best we could do?
ReplyDeleteIf they can survive the first season, they'll be successful.
ReplyDeleteIf the kemper family wants to end their 37 years of naming rights they are free to.
It is wasteful to destroy Kemper. Philadelphia and Los Angeles are examples of cities that are making good use of their Spectrum and Great Western Forum.
This picture is representative of what Kansas City has become. Notice four NIGGERS and only two humans. Yup, that's about the situation at City Hall now. Aren't you proud KC?
ReplyDeleteStrip AEG's management of Kemper and give the contract to an AEG competitor. Now you have lover ticket prices, elimination of a major conflict of interest and maybe someone who actually cares about making Kemper a profitable exercise. ......but Noooooooooo! not in KC
ReplyDeleteAeg will not tolerate competition or business disappointment. I do not believe rumors about Michael Jackson's demise but they do scare me nonetheless.
ReplyDelete5:47pm Why the "we"? You are taking cheapshots at a league and team you couldn't even find the intelligence to create.
