TKC EXCLUSIVE FOLLOW-UP!!! KANSAS CITY HOMEOWNER THREATENED WITH EMINENT DOMAIN EVICTION AMID BLIZZARD EMERGENCY NOW OFFERED EXTENSION!!!

Tonight we must give credit to this blog community and the many KICK-ASS POWER BROKERS WHO READ THIS DUMP OF A BLOG!!!

Yesterday we reported news of a local homeowner who was set to be evicted from her home to make way for the KCPD East Patrol.

To wit . . .

THANKS TO HER COURAGEOUS EFFORTS AND JUST A BIT OF HELP FROM THIS KICK-ASS BLOG COMMUNITY . . . AN EXTENSION HAS BEEN OFFERED TO THE HOMEOWNER!!!

But that's not the end of the story . . .

The offer of an extension was predicated on giving in to the City's eminent domain move.

So, we're hopeful that the public spotlight will prevent KCMO from making more hopeless people during the State Of Emergency . . . BUT, the fight surrounding yet another controversial Kansas City real estate move continues . . .

Comments

  1. You know, it's probably a good thing that she keeps on fighting for her home. It just makes it easier for City Hall to take other homes in the long run.

  2. The idiots knew for months that they had to move... Typical last minute drama.

  3. Funny thing is TKC - They are doing this in the northland too but you don't hear about it because MSM wants you to believe everything is perfect across the River.

  4. @ 7:42 sounds like a Johnson County prick who never had the government try to take anything away from them before.

  5. JdX sounds like a TKC sock puppet or one of your government insiders who never learned how to work a REAL job.

  6. I find that people have no sympathy for any one in KCMO. A lot of these comments are evidence of this fact.

  7. I heard the City offered to extend her time they just wanted her to promise to leave at the end of the extension.

  8. This person has known for months what was going on, and opted to do nothing. Now they want sympathy. These people's homes weren't taken, the people were well if not overly compensated for their property.

  9. How much you asking for your home?

Selling without an alternative is not a negotiation, it's theft?

They can't pull this junk in JO CO, why do they try it in KC?

City Hall committed theft plain and simple.

  10. You can always tell when a thug is talking. They take everything personally and don't understand reason.

  11. 9:46. Think about your "eminent domain is theft" attitude the next time you are tooling along on I-35.
