CITY MANAGER TROY SCHULTE MAKES MIRACULOUS KANSAS CITY SIDE STREET SNOW PROMISES AND BECOMES CITY HALL'S FAVORITE SACRIFICIAL LAMB!!!
City Manager Troy Schulte has promised to work miracles today . . .
KCTV5: "Kansas City Manager Troy Schulte said the city hopes to have all residential streets plowed by Thursday."
That's sweet given that most of Kansas City side streets are still a mess and higher temperatures are the only effective way clear snow-packed roads now.
But for the record . . .
KANSAS CITY RESIDENTS AREN'T REALLY ANGRY WITH THE CITY MANAGER ABOUT SHOW REMOVAL GIVEN THAT THE PRIORITIES OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL ARE MOSTLY FOCUSED ON THE TOY TRAIN AND OTHER PET PROJECTS UNRELATED TO CITY SERVICES!!!
In other words . . .
IT'S EASY TO SEE CITY MANAGER SCHULTE OFFERING HIMSELF AS A SACRIFICIAL LAMB FOR KANSAS CITY SNOW REMOVAL FAIL!!!
I don't blame him . . . Keeping his job kind of involves getting crucified for the sins of Mayor and Council.
For instance . . .
- There was an effort to blame City Manager Troy for the STILL MISSING $15K when it was ADMITTEDLY Council Pressure from Pastor Brooks that influenced cutting the check.
- City Manager Troy is the only person at City Hall with the guts to call this year's budget "structurally unbalanced" - A fact that has been buried by mainstream media newsies.
- TKC EXCLUSIVE . . . There was an effort to kill the controversial and ineffective "Aim4Peace" program (lol) inside the City Manager's office recently but it was quickly put down by members of the City Council.
To wit . . .
It seems the City Manager Troy is being set up as Kansas City's fall guy and upcoming campaign promises involving a "Strong Mayor" form of government have already started circulating as we move closer to election season.
Developing . . .
Somebody get TKC a shovel.
ReplyDeleteDrug Court is effective. Cancel it.
ReplyDeleteAim4Peace is a boondoggle. Better keep throwing money at it.
This is the logic of the City.
Troy won't last another year Tony.
ReplyDeleteHe has already given up.
You heard it here first.
ReplyDeleteKansas City Manager Troy Schulte said the city hopes to have all the City Council Crooks rectums plowed by Thursday, but in reality it will take much longer to give them what they deserve. After trying unsuccessfully to eliminate it, Troy will now utilize Aim4Penis to accomplish this goal.
It as gone much better this time, this heavy wet snow is harder to deal with.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like they put forward some effort this time.
"That's sweet given that most of Kansas City side streets are still a mess"
ReplyDeleteGiven the size of the reporting staff at TKC, on what basis can you claim that "most . . . side streets are still a mess"?
Have you driven them yourself, Tony? Or are you just relying on your "kickass tipsters" in Waldo and Brookside to tell you about "most side streets" throughout KC?
8:55, that's my observation as well, but I will note that by last Friday, my side street was driveable and the snow route had been cleared.
ReplyDeleteI'm also speculating that the better response this time has a lot to do with the fact that the yahoos who tried to drive Thursday and got stuck still don't realize that their cars have been towed to the Truman Sports Complex and weren't out Tuesday clogging up the roads again.
Yes people stayed off the streets better this time and that had a huge effect on getting them cleaned faster.
ReplyDeleteExactly right. Thank you to the workers who worked their asses off keeping our streets clean. Some of us non-whiny-bitches out there do appreciate your efforts. THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteYeah, THANKS ALOT for going out and DOING YOUR JOB.
ReplyDeleteIt is what TAX DOLLARS pay for, after all.
It's time to sacrifice the lamb.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteRoast him up, but be mindful that all that fat could cause a fire - and the KCFD has yet again proven itself incompetent.
Me, and the 1,000 people in my neighborhood are still waiting for our trash pick up, for TWO FUCKING WEEKS NOW.
ReplyDeleteA plow came by about 12 times in the past 48 hours. Literally. He was actually scraping off ashphalt since the snow was all gone. Pretty sure if UPS can get through the street, a trash truck can too.
And no, the people at 311 were no help. First, if you find one you can actually understand that's a plus, second, they're just like "Uh, we'll put a request in."
fuck aim 4 peace, bunch of fucking grifters...and where's the 15K Tony!!
ReplyDeleteTKC will find a way to blame everything wrong with KC on white people
ReplyDeleteTrue dat!
ReplyDeleteThat fucking Schulte would suck a dick, in the middle of Main Street, at high noon, if somebody important told him to. What horrible excuse for a City Manager.
ReplyDeleteTwo thumbs up on snow removal at my place. Thanks KCMo!
ReplyDeletePICK UP MY FUCKING TRASH IN BROOKSIDE, YOU MORONIC CITY MANAGER! Yes, you personally. At this point, I want YOU to pick up all of the trash, personally, on my whole block, perhaps entire neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, what do you people want? The side streets are amazing considering we had two 12" snows in five days. The parking on one side of the street suggestion seems to have been a big help in midtown. This should become part of KC's emergency snow plan. My side street in Waldo has been plowed at least twice, and yes, I had to shovel what they plowed in front of my drive twice, but big whoop.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for the whiny moron in Brookside with the garbage fetish, grow up. Your pickup day is Friday. You've already been told that will be delayed one day, so your garbage will be picked up Saturday. It'll be interesting to see what you whine about next.
10:12, you are obviously clueless. Many city employees are made to work off hours and overtime, including throughout the middle of the night, so that your whiny bitch ass can roll out of bed and get out of the house in the morning. You should stop at a simple THANK YOU, you fucking ingrate.
ReplyDeleteEat a big bowl of fuck 2:33.
ReplyDeleteThey should thank the taxpayers for supporting their employment.
2:51 How about I come to your job and yell at you while you work, telling you about how bad you suck at your job, without ever having met you, and without any knowledge whatsoever how good or bad you are at doing your job? Although, from your fucked up attitude, I feel pretty confident you suck ass at whatever job you may be keeping at the moment. If you actually are gainfully employed, you fucktard.

ReplyDelete3:10 should learn not to push the Q-tip so far into the ear.
Stop pushing when you feel resistance.
There should be no grey matter/cerebral-spinal fluid mixed with the ear wax.
PS - Wear a bib if the drooling doesn't stop.
Children, children, let's get back to pointing out the fact that NIGGERS are ruining the city/nation/world. Schulte isn't worth even a mild conversation.
ReplyDelete3:26 Thanks for sharing the knowledge you've gained from your life experiences. Now go clean your fucking bib, stupid bitch.
ReplyDelete2:07 - my goddamned trash hasn't been picked up in OVER TWO WEEKS!! You are the moron.
ReplyDeleteNeither has mine. So what? You can't survive two weeks without trash pickup? Get a life.
ReplyDeleteGet real, you whiny Brookside twit. Unless you screwed up and didn't get your garbage out in time, your last pick up would have been Friday, Feb. 15. That will be two weeks tomorrow, which means it's not been "OVER TWO WEEKS." Your garbage is supposed to be picked up Saturday, which means it will be all of eight days late.
ReplyDeleteThe racism and snottiness in these comments is disgusting. Brookside trash WAS picked up--and no one reading this blog would do the hard work done by the trash team. Have a little respect for the guys who work hard SERVING you. White assholes, full of privilege & entitlement...probably never worked hard at anything.
ReplyDeleteSome Brookside trash was picked up. Our whole block, and the entire neighborhood, has TWO WEEKS of trash piling up. So, STFU until you know what's going on. And it makes no difference what neighborhood it is. Is it so wrong to ask that the trash is picked up when the roads are clear? TWO WEEKS, asshole. It will be 15 days as of tomorrow. The Sunday promised pick up NEVER HAPPENED. Put that in your solid waste pipe and smoke it.
ReplyDeleteI live out in the boonies, at the edge of KCMO, and my trash was picked up today. Basically I missed one week of pickup. Boo fucking hoo, I had a couple of bags of trash in my front yard on a big fucking pile of snow for a week. Haven't gotten the plague just yet, but will let you know.
ReplyDeleteKC can't clean up snow and it can't fight crime.
ReplyDeleteWow! Up to two bags of trash sitting on your curb for a week because you're too lazy to carry it back to the porch, and now today, you have FOUR bags out there for a few hours.
ReplyDeleteOh, the horrors of living in Brookside!
How do you poor babies possibly survive?
Your pioneer ancestors must be so proud of you.
7:18. Yes, we know the Saturday pickup never happened. The city did not single you out for abuse. Everyone experienced delays. You are constantly whining about your trash not having been picked up for "OVER TWO WEEKS," which is simply false. Your regular day is Friday. It was picked up Feb. 15 unless you fucked up and forgot to put it out. The next pick up for you would have been Saturday Feb. 23 (because of the Presidents Day holiday) but was delayed to a promised Sunday (Feb. 24) pickup because of the first storm. That didn't happen. The city has apologized and advised people when their pickups will be (and asked people to take their trash off the street, which evidently you did not do). Your pickup will be tomorrow, which is actually ONE WEEK later than would have happened had the storm not hit.
ReplyDeleteWith all the power outages and other crap prople have had to put up with because of these storms, if a one-week delay in your trash pickup is all you have to worry about most people would consider you pretty darned lucky.
But then, you do live in a neighborhood with a unique sense of entitlement.
Bwaaaaahaaaahaaa. I live in Brookside and every week I have ONE WEEK's worth of garbage waiting to be picked up. Every week it's been ONE WEEK since my last garbage pickup. Hell, sometimes it EIGHT DAYS when the fuckin' sanitation workers take a holiday. Is it too much to ask for the city to pick up my trash? Now, I need someone to wipe my ass. It's been TWO WEEKS since I had someone wipe my ass. My shit's been accumulating for OVER TWO WEEKS. Bwaaaaahaaaaahaaa.
ReplyDelete8:38, I don't live in Brookside, but my regular trash day is Friday. It was bumped to Saturday because of the holiday, then Sunday because of the snow.
ReplyDeleteAt about 8 a.m. Sunday, the trash truck came by and got it. At about noon, the recycling truck came rolling by.
Now tomorrow, when I will set my trash out because of the last snow delay, I will have SIX DAYS of trash accumulated and sitting on the curb, instead of FIVE!
Oh, woe is me! Whatever will I do?
I truly hope for all those beleaguered Brooksiders who now have up to four bags of trash on their curb that this is the worst thing that ever happens to them in their entire lives.
And does anybody else think that those speed bumps in Brookside that the crybabies there whined about until they got them might be causing just a little bit of a problem for the snow plows?
