I don't disagree that all of Kansas City's population growth is in the Northland . . . But the suggestion Jackson County will enjoy a population win isn't backed up by anything but the most optimistic models.

    Doesn't Jackson County also include eastern Independence, Lee's Summit, and Blue Springs?

    So in short, the burbs is what saves Jackson County. The Northland, LS, BS, GV and even Independence saves JC from being WYCO without entertainment development.

    Jackson County already has an entertainment development, moron. Lots of them in fact. Like 95% of all of the metros entertainment arts and culture. Its called KCMO. It's why people live in Blue Springs, Johnson County, the Northland, etc. To be in proximity to the ammenities of KCMO.
