KANSAS CITY KILLING SPREE CONTINUES!!! DID LOCAL AUTHORITIES MISS A FEW SPOTS DURING "OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP" ANNOUNCEMENT TODAY?!?!
Murder rules Kansas City streets tonight and throughout the week.
Today there was a collaborative effort among law enforcement agencies to address the crisis. Moments after the presser Kansas City counted two more homicides.
Then there was another road rage murder during the early evening . . .
The murder count in Kansas City now stands at 15 in January for 2013.
And so . . .
IS "OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP" MISSING A SPOT WHEN IT COMES TO A COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH AIMED AT REDUCING KANSAS CITY MURDER AND VIOLENCE?!?!
Allow me to offer an example . . .
TODAY A DUDE WITH A FAKE ORANGE BEARD TOOK DOWN THE METHOD CLOTHING BOUTIQUE DURING A BRAZEN DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!!!
Also remember . . . Down the street the Crossroads Coffeehouse has been enduring harsh times with an armed crook that has been targeting their business.
To wit . . .
THE CROSSROADS COULD EASILY BECOME YET ANOTHER KANSAS CITY HOTSPOT GIVEN THAT MERCHANTS AREN'T REALLY FAMILIAR WITH THE REALITIES OF LIFE IN THE URBAN CORE!!!
At this point and as a community, it's fair to reconsider the effectiveness of "hotspot" policing and constant press conference announcements from local authorities and elected officials.
Meanwhile, Kansas City politicos seem to be intent on looking for a solution to local violence and crime among their own elite ranks rather than looking for input from the community.
Developing . . .

Tony, you are forgetting that the toy train will solve KC's problems.
ReplyDeleteKilla City
ReplyDeleteLook for a gun ban in KC, Tony.
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda curious, was the Sheriff there? Not sure how you can have a comprhensive plan county-wide if the Sheriff with his backlog of 9000 warrants for felons is not being addressed!
ReplyDeleteUmmmm... If all these people were wanted for violent crimes then why has KCPD been letting them walk the streets until the press would show up? This operaton is complete BS.
ReplyDeleteClean sweep is KC caca.
ReplyDeleteDo the math Tony. This puts us on a course for at least 120 murders in 2013. Where is the progress?
ReplyDeleteDo your math. 16 as of today puts us on pace for 192 homicides this year.
DeleteThe justice system from the street cop to the judges in KC-MO are a fail to the taxpayers who have to day in and day out pay for this shame operation of the city/county government.
ReplyDeleteThis should be a warning. Do not move to kcmo. things are out of control here.
ReplyDeleteThe double homicide today involved rap music "artists". Why am I not shocked.
ReplyDeleteBlame the guns and not the music.
ReplyDeleteMusic doesn't kill anybody.
Music doesnt kill people. Rap artists do.
DeleteI think Sly needs to double his budget, AGAIN, and hire some more buddies to study this, generate reports, and bull shit the community. That makes more sense then to hire folks to actually do the work for the city and police. But don't worry, inna city folk will still votes for him.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it I don't see programs like this in Lenexa? How about Lexington,MO where there are lots of poor white people? What is the common thread here? That's right, black people. At least the mafia had the common courtesy to rub out people that had it coming. The black plague just ruins entire cities and countries. In 500 years they will be in the same place as today on the societal ladder. Their lack of progress is truly beyond belief.
ReplyDeleteI hope kyle is ok
ReplyDeletesharp doesn't want to be associated with this batch of losers.
ReplyDeleteThis post is a complete lie!
ReplyDeleteThe Chief said his "hotspot" program is working, therefore none of these violent crimes actually happened
clean sweep = all p.r.
ReplyDeleteKCPD has failed Kansas City.
ReplyDeleteThe citizens have failed Kansa City. Stop turning a blind eye. Stand up and take you're neighborhoods back. I bet if the neighborhoods were motivated and called the police more it would solve a lot of the problems. But that's okay, it's easy to blame someone else and not take responsibility. At least the police are trying different plans. Even if they don't work it's better than what your doing. Hiding behind a computer bitching about it.
DeleteWho cares about these murders? Its bad guys killing bad guys. So what...
ReplyDeleteGuys, guys, guys!
ReplyDeleteCalm down.
The streetcar is going to fix all of this!
an inferior race, that has no respect for human life, no respect for well for anything, look at what they do to each other everyday in modern day america... all these niggers/gangbangers their whole purpose in life is to impregnate their young, torment their elderly, destroy their communities, sell and use drugs, live off the welfare system and kill each other, just a fucking bunch of worthless niggers in KC MO
ReplyDelete8:59 and 10:21 comments are hearing the music correctly....WINNERS!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a joke. Putting some arbitrary number out there with a goal to reach it in two years is just a way for Forte and James to buy themselves time. It's a common way to divert criticism. Results are always years away so nobody is held accountable for doing something now.
ReplyDeleteAnd how sad that in a little city like this 80 homicides would be considered improvement. Think about that 80! A city this size should have maybe 15-20 homicides top.
DeleteDees niggras gots to sco man !
Delete@10;36 you hit the nail on the head, stupid fucking hood-rats
ReplyDeleteB.s. - that is just crap racism
ReplyDelete12:44- what about the 10:36 post do you disagree with?
