This cutting Kansas City criticism is spot on and echos a lot of what I hear about my wicked little home town from fellow residents.
Certainly, it's something to think about for the overnight. And, maybe a challenge for tomorrow.

The truth is far more depressing than the media would have you beleive. But we are better off knowing the truth, than pretending otherwise.
When I moved to Missouri I could not believe how people are so damn apathetic about the crap being pulled by local and state government, I could not believe the was workers have absolutely zero rights in Missouri, how consumers get screwed, how these payday loan sharks operate, how medicare works, how little respect state government has for it's own people. Then after a while I realized that these things happened because they could and still can and no9t one friggen Missourian wil muster the balls to stand up and put a stop to it. Ask anyone who has moved here and you will see it echoed how little people in this state are involved in protecting their own interests and how apathetic the population is when it comes to the shenanigans. If ever there was a place where people aren't victims, but rather volunteers it is good old Missouri. What a shame.
