Steve Vockrodt @ The KC Biz Journal Informs Us . . .
The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce backs two April 2 ballot proposals in Kansas City related to continuing the health levy and removing nonprofit exemptions to the convention and tourism tax.
And so Kansas City big biz has brought word down from the mountain top and now the Kansas City political elite and most voters will probably faithfully comply.
I thought the Republicans were anti-tax?
ReplyDeleteThe Chamber is not made up of free market types. Mostly a combination of those feeding at the trough and political insiders. They support every tax hike no matter how stupid.
ReplyDeleteThe Chamber is led by a moron who loves spending OPM (Other People's Money).
ReplyDeleteThe ballot language on the Health Levy is bad. Shame on Ed Ford for pushing it through.
