"On 12-31-2012 at 12:19 pm officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Missouri on a reported shooting. Upon arrival officers discovered the victim dead in the snow. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline 816.474.8477."

This latest murder spree thwarts a lot of progress that all of Kansas City hoped to achieve this year and reminds us that curbing the murder rate should be this town's highest priority in 2013.
