- Council Dude Russ Johnson is the highest profile Northland politico who now holds a bit of ground across The River and is attempting to build a slate for friends also running during the next election i.e. Russ Johnson is making nice with Council Candidate John Fierro according to astute TKC TIPSTERS.

LOOK FOR COUNCIL DUDE RUSS JOHNSON TO START MAKING LIFE A BIT HARDER FOR MAYOR SLY IN THE UPCOMING MONTHS AS HIS CAMPAIGN STARTS TO RAMP UP!!!
Higher office has always been part of the game plan for Council Dude Russ. During an interview a couple of years ago it was clear that his linear way of thinking sees public service as more of a career ladder than a calling for public service - Really a combination of the two . . . I.E successful politicos get promoted to another term or higher office.
And so . . .
Count Council Dude Russ as Mayor Sly's FIRST opponent and look for his supporters to keep trying to convince us otherwise until their announcement next year.
