This afternoon's presser for The Kansas City Renegades was REALLY FUN. In fact, the team is already on the road to winning if they can take half of that energy back to Kemper Arena in the Spring.
Since TKC FIRST BROKE NEWS of this local indoor football power play and things have developed quite quickly for the team.

There are A LOT of things to like about this Kansas City Indoor Football effort but more than anything . . . Once again it's important to acknowledge the work of owner Jeremy Ploeger in bringing back a Kansas City civic spirit to local pro-sports.
And once again, the Cafe Brio presser was rather classy and the first time I was allowed in the place without shaving, taking off my ball cap and while wearing shorts. Natch.
But more importantly . . .

The move back to Kemper Arena and the grassroots approach to marketing the team is a stark contrast to so many other pro-sports efforts.

In the tradition of Kansas City sports owners who really cared about this town . . . The Kansas City Renegades are off to a great start.

And yes . . . Gawking at the NEW Kansas City Renegades Cheerleaders was a rather SWEET.

We even caught a nice image of some behind the scenes primping that demonstrates it takes a great deal of effort to look so DAMN FINE.

Credit to these hotties for being so patient while I enjoyed the best part of my day.

A bit of behind the scenes . . . Fro what we heard at the presser, this new cheer squad might have been an (over) reaction to some of the nasty comments from TKC D-BAG TROLLS that were rather rough . . . Rest assured that none of the NASTY DUDES WHO READ THIS BLOG DUMP AND RUDELY CRITICIZE LOCAL HOTTIES have a shot with cheerleaders. It's in this spirit that we offer the last fun photo which features the KC Renegade Cheerleaders having a laugh while promoting this town's new upstart sports franchise.
DEVELOPING . . .
