TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SHOW-ME FREEDOM FEST SUCCESS!!!

As usual I was running late this morning and nowadays my skin burns whenever it touches sunlight . . . Still . . . I was able to rouse myself out of bed to take a look one of the most interesting KC political gatherings today.

To wit . . .

THE 1ST SHOW-ME FREEDOM FEST WAS A HUGE SUCCESS TODAY AND LOOKS TO BE A MAJOR ANNUAL EVENT FOR KANSAS CITY AREA "LIBERTY ACTIVISTS" IN THE NEAR FUTURE!!!

Seriously, I was surprised at the turnout of probably a few hundred moving in and out of the conference for such a blazing hot and horrible Kansas City Saturday afternoon . . . But so many people seemed really excited to be there and taking part in a discussion of all things Liberty-related in Kansas City . . .

I'm thinking about going back for a session on an interesting session on the ongoing fight against Red Light Cameras . . . We'll see.

In the meantime, I learned quite a bit which we'll see on this blog sometime in the near future.

Also, I picked up a couple of cool bumper stickers KC Norml crowd. Nice!!!

Stay tuned for a few more pix . . .

    1. Superdave, you are a sick, perverted weasel who fucks goats in your spare time. And all you have is spare time, what with the having no friends and all.

  3. She was there. It was a good turnout. More photos tkc.

  4. I don't see anywhere in the constitution-bill of rights where it says we have the right to run red lights or not pay fines for doing so when we get caught.

  5. Are red light cameras in the Constitution?

    Didn't think so.

  6. Couple hundred out of a million in the metro area? Talking about marijuana and the tax laws? Pickin up pamphlets and hearing each other talk? While the republicans are trying to shut down the government?

Like turkeys looking up when it's raining and drowning.

I assure you that the FAIR Tax is not fair.

    1. Neither is the notion that any individual should pay the government for privilege of providing for themselves or their family in the form of an income tax. The Fair Tax fails in that it is full of all the same complexities we currently suffer under and actually creates new problems with its "prebate."

The Fair Tax has value in that it forces a discussion on taxes. While I personally oppose all taxes, the least objectionable tax would be a consumption tax, as I can choose whether or not I will pay it through my level of participation in the market.

  8. If you're against ALL taxes, as you say, it might be difficult to participate in the market without streets, cops, or any other local services that are provided by local government.
Nor would there be any Social Security or Mdeicare for your parents and grandparents, or food inspection, or anything else that we take for granted from the Feds.
Living in a cave hoping for the best may be your idea of "freedom", but I don't think the group who would join in would be any larger than the tiny band who showed up at UMKC.

  9. Taxes are a fact of life and always will be.

It's how they are used is what the debate should be about.

But those at this gathering as is being reported to me by another source ran from the curious to the off their rocker crowd.

Yes the crowd was small in fact very small. My friend attended unknown to me till a few minutes ago to gather information for use in another story about people who more or less go chasing dreams put forth by those who are clueless so to speak in the first place and like being the center of some kind of attention, rather it is for the good of the people or not.

  10. "without streets, cops, or any other local services that are provided by local government"

Who says they should "provide" them. I'm fine with my neighborhood hiring it's own police to protect our properties and rights, not the governments. By saying that only government can provide these things, is saying that I'm ok with committing violence against others so I can have what I want.

By saying that only government can inspect food is to say that I myself am incapable of choosing for myself and that only government can make that decision. I'm quite capable of inspecting my own food and if you actually look at the track record of government inspections, it's quite poor.

  11. Gee 11:04 what’s the name of your lab where you test your food at?

USDA might not be the best 100% of the time but just think if it wasn't there.

What block do you live on that has so much money they can afford to have their own police dept. 24/7/365 to protect you?

I have no idea where you were educated but you were robbed of learning any common knowledge. Or did you just failed to show up for class on the really important days?

In a country of app 313 million people you can't have somewhere in the neighbor of say 100 million different ideas of law enforcement, if some food is ok or not, or laws of the land.

There has to be some sort of organization of this country as in a government rather you I or anyone else likes it or not. In your so called perfect world one neighbor can just walk over and shoot your dumb ass take your wife and kids and put them into slavery because on their side of the street that’s the law

  12. EVERYONE is completely capable of doing all sorts of things all by themselves until they make a terrible mistake, and then it somehow becomes everyone else's responsibility.
So eat anything you want, drive without seatbelts, don't buy medical insurance, and jump out of airplanes if you want to, but please don't show up at the emergency room looking for help after your bad choices have hit you over the head.
All these rugged individualists depend on thousands of others every day.

Ever notice when the radicals are at a loss for words they say really childish things. But that's normal probably for ones who think Adam Kokesh is so great here is in my mind what some of his followers might listen to a lot.
