Kansas City Mayor Sly's "Reform and Repair" plan is convoluted and hastily thrown together. Still, as election D-Day moves closer it's time for Kansas City's most powerful consultants to pitch this half BILLION dollar borrowing and 1/2 cent forever sales tax increase to the public.

For those who don't know . . . Global Prairie is an upstart Kansas City powerhouse communications firm and they've been the only place aggressively hiring during The Great Recession.

Now let's REALLY get into it . . .



KC INSIDERS claim . . .

THE FACT THAT JEFF ROE ISN'T LEADING THIS TEAM OF KANSAS CITY POWER HOUSE CONSULTANTS IS SCARING SOME CITY HALL INSIDERS!!!

Why?

Remember that Jeff Roe and his Axiom strategies WON BIG FOR THE ZOO TAX.

Point of fact . . . This Kansas City Water/Sewer levy is also "forever" tax that has no sunset clause.

THE ZOO TAX WAS ALSO A "FOREVER" TAX THAT HAS NO SUNSET CLAUSE!!!

Mr. Roe won so handily in his Zoo Tax quest that even The Kansas City Star was forced to acknowledge his "mainstream" arrival on the scene of local elites.

    Samr old sad story of KCMO government.
    Credibility based on performance and behavior= ZERO.
    Necessity of hiring the usual flacks to trick and sccare the public into voting for a slapped together plan that the council won't pay enough attentioin to to be sure the public gets its money's worth= 100%.
    Voter turnout= Low. because most people are smart enought to have seen this movie many times before.
    Result= hundreds of millions of unsupervised spending and debt.
    KCMO voters= You get exactly what you deserve.

    Anyhoo, I will not vote for the taxes. Nope. I always voted in the past for city hall taxes because of a trust factor. That trust is gone. Nope. I will not vote for a tax put forth by these jerks, and that includes their paid toadies.

    11:10 you should learn your politics. Roe does not do work for Pat Gray unless it's work that is too sophisticated for Gray's companies, which is most stuff. Or stuff Gray is too drunk to do. Roe's Axiom Strategies is a high-end place. Gray's operation is rickety and runs on alcohol fumes and Glorioso's spit.
