I have no idea why Mena Suvari is still famous but I don't really mind . . . And now a few Kansas City news links that I'm looking at . . .
- All About Kansas City's July Events
- The Old School Battle Against The CONSTANT demand for hookers: Just Men KC is a group of nearly 400 men who say that they are dedicated to the idea that men created the demand for prostitution, and better men are going to have to do something to end it.
- One more tragedy on local streets: Metro Man Killed in Charity Bicycle Race
- KCMO run-around: Man leads police on car chase after driving erratically in Walmart parking lot
- Fattie Auditions Get A Lesson In Irony: Two Biggest Loser contestants are overcome by heat
- Star News: First African-American in Kansas Senate, Curtis McClinton Sr., dies
- Show-Me Justice: Ex-MO police officer convicted of murder
It is a terrible loss for mr Forbes to lose his life. Just awful. But it is true that the bicyclists hog the road. They ride right in the middle of traffic, and place themselves in harm's way. They have many many alternative places to ride, dedicated for bicycling enthusiasts.
ReplyDeleteu missed that ass.
ReplyDeleteOk so a church and others are against prostitution that is acceptable.
ReplyDeleteSo why aren't the church and the Just Men group not working as well for stronger family values and homes? I mean kids raised correctly are not very likely to end up in prostitution.
Plus just how old are these kids in question? In Ks the age of consent is 16 and if a 16 year old runs away trust me Johnny Law isn't falling all over themselves to find them. And it's those kids who are the ones who have a higher risk of turning to prostitution for money.
Make it legal for those who want to go that route for sex and let SRS monitor the men and women who want to sell themselves to others, tax it and be done with it. Then our police force budgets could be cut wouldn't need all these sex stings and more time by law enforcement could be spent on dealing with real crime.
9:30, do you if Mr. Forbes was "hogging the road" or disobeying any traffic laws? Don't put all bicyclists, including Mr. Forbes, into that category unless you have the facts. Until you do, just STFU.
ReplyDeleteNews reports say there was ten feet of shoulder where he was riding, but he opted to use the road. So you can stfu.
