An important observation from a TKC READER who sent this photo our way . . .
"How can the people of Kansas City really believe our city government can handle microphones and cameras on our streets, when they can't even spell Pennsylvania?"
On the bright side, this could be a sign that increased cash for Mayor Sly's office and his reading program might make a difference for more people than we realize in Kansas City.
They're BROKE. The city's infra-structure is falling apart and they buy all this high tech dreck? Either some slickster of a salesman buying the decision makers. Or it's a payback.
ReplyDeleteThe "TH" or "th" or "Th" has been fucked up on street signs around here for years.
ReplyDeleteWho gives a fuckanyia?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the sign was contracted out to some company who misspelled it and then the two public works guys who put it up didn't notice either. It's not the end of the world.
ReplyDeleteProbably a KCMO educated public works employee made the sign
ReplyDelete8:45- KC operates its own sign shop.
ReplyDeletePennsylvagina?
ReplyDeleteThe signs at the Kansas city zoo are worse.
ReplyDeleteGo check out the street sign on Sni-A-Bar Road, on the west end of the bridge over I-435 - Instead of Outer Road, it is Otter Road. Mistakes like this wouldn't be made if I was in charge!
ReplyDeleteWell Hell!! I like the Nina Part!
ReplyDeleteHow do you spell fail?
ReplyDeleteKC-MO
Shut up, faggot.
ReplyDeleteSeems like at least one child was left behind in spelling.
ReplyDeleteGood catch... don't much pay attention to street signs since I already know my way around. This is an embarrassment for Kansas City. Do those machines have a spell check?
ReplyDeleteKCMO had a misspelled Wyandotte street sign in midtown last year, not far from this sign.
