TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY GAWKERS GATHER AT THE SCENE OF A HORRIFIC DOWNTOWN CAR CRASH TONIGHT NEAR TOWN TOPIC!!!

It was a busy night in Kansas City. As I made my way back to my (mom's) Westside basement I noticed a large crowd gawking at a HORRIBLE Downtown Car crash near Town Topic on Broadway.

Here are a few shots of the scene.

Most of lower Broadway was blocked off.

At least two dozen people stood outside Town Topic watching the scene.

Fire and police controlled the large crowd and helped to rescue some poor soul in an overturned car.

This last photo offers another look at the damage at the scene almost a block away from the overturned car.

All things considered. It was a pretty huge accident and a glimpse of Downtown Kansas City life as we attempt to enjoy the nice weather.

  1. Anybody ate at Town Topic of late?

LOL remember the days after shows when we would swing by there on the way back to JOCO for some good ole kitchen oil. Back then was decent for late night but not heard about food for some time.

  3. In the past few years, Town topic has made some important improvements.

I liked it more when it was a dump.

    First Friday fucks up everything.

  7. There were three people in the car that flipped. They escaped relatively unscathed. I was eating at Town Topic ... looking out the window when it happened. My car was out front and I saw them fly into it and then flip over. Quite the scene. I'm surprised how many people were around there at night.
