Thanks to a fellow KC Blogger for pointing out an upcoming news conference from Kansas City's Muslim Community featured on the TKC fb page. It should be a great chance for local members of the Muslim community to address a lingering wave of hatred and bias that still lingers in Missouri politics. And, for the record, since there's no chance of Sharia Law being instituted in the Show-Me State . . . This bit of legislation is simply more grandstanding from clueless culture warriors on a crusade.

Yes to HB1512. I don't see a problem with a law that says no Sharia Law. Anyone against HB1512 must hope for the day Sharia Law is the law of the land. The message is that our laws aren't going to come from the Koran. Making that perfectly clear lets us move on.
