  2. Looks like a waste of time.
    Another Kansas City Epic Failure.

  3. It actually was a good crowd and great showcase of the debate KC debaters. One of the most intelligent discussion of the district options. Beats what's going on in Jeff City by a mile.

  4. The crowd was small, the discussion was boring and of little consequence.

  7. The crowd was 175+ and it was an AMAZING debate.

  8. looks like about the same amount of people attended as are going to vote in the election, when all of 2candidates are running. And one of those is Arthur Benson. This district defines dysfunction. Disband it, tear down all the buildings, and spread salt on the ground. Better nothing than this.

  9. If talking, having meetings, facilitating, debating, and dialoguing actually accomplished anything, KCPS would be the best school district in the country.
KC loves to confuse discussing with making decisions and taking action (and responisibilty.
At this point in the district's demise, it's hard to imagine a bigger waste of time.

  10. Are You Lonely? Tried of working on your own? Do you hate making decisions. Then....

    Hold a Meeting!

    You can --
    -See people.
    -Show Charts.
    -Feel important.
    -Point with a stick.
    -Eat donuts.
    -and Impress people saying nothing.

All paid for by the Taxpayer.

  11. WOW out of a population of 441,545 people, 175 showed up.
Must be an important issue for Kansas City.

  13. KCPS is one of 14 school districts in KCMO. I don't think 441,545 people are supposed to be paying attention. And yes, the district is improving this year. You all are so busy carping, you wouldn't know that. Superintendent Green took the good news on increasing accreditation points to Jeff City yesterday. Actually accomplished. Nuff said.

  14. One of the main problems facing schools in the entire K.C. area is where will all the former K.C. public school students go? Most close suburban districts are already struggling financially and will not be able to bear this burden alone. How to divide up the funds? Also most close suburban schools suffer from exactly the same problems as the K.C. district. Hickman Mills and Center are examples.
