Just like we expected . . . Council Lady & Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Circo is taking a lot of heat for legislation she sponsored that was pushed through in less than a week.

Of course TKC loves Sexy, Silly Cindy . . . But KCIR supporters who are ticked off about a land grab don't have my appreciation and patience for Kansas City Cougars.

"Cindy Circo Lied About The Purchase Of The KCIR Race Track" . . . She said the race track owners approached the city to sell the race track when in fact the race track was condemned. Cindy Circo rushed the purchase of the race track through so that the track owners (couldn't?) garner support against the city’s purchase of the track. Attached to this email is information that prove these facts."

THERE'S A CITY HALL PROTEST IN SUPPORT OF KCIR SCHEDULED TODAY!!!

The protest is slated for 4:30 in the PM . . . What these folks probably don't know is that City Hall doesn't really do legislative biz on Monday and this Kansas City Council land grab was well thought out ahead of time so that Council folk wouldn't have to answer for themselves . . .

An e-mail blast just sent out:

"The City Council of Kansas City, Missouri will not hold any Standing Committee, Business Session or Legislative Session Meetings for the week of November 7 - 11, 2011."

Nobody answered when I called Cindy Circo's office for comment . . . I welcome any response from her via comment or e-mail.
