KANSAS CITY MURDER RATE STANDS AT 106!!! MAYOR SLY JAMES ADMINISTRATION FAILS TO MAKE EARLY PROGRESS!!!

Tonight we know one indisputable fact about Kansas City: There has been no progress in fighting homicides during the early months of The Mayor Sly James Administration.

KCPD Crime Stats reveal that this cowtown has equaled the number of people murdered in Kansas City last year.

There are a lot of places to lay blame but, like it or not, the buck stops with Mayor Sly James. To argue otherwise is to deny accountability for this town's top politico.

There have been some noteworthy efforts in the fight against murder on Kansas City Streets including a gun bounty program launched by a few members of the City Council and the "Hot Spot" strategy touted by the new KCPD Police Chief.

So far, nothing has immediately fixed the problem of increasing local homicides.

I don't pretend to have the answer on this one . . . However, I have a keen insight into what hasn't worked so far and there's no empirical evidence to suggest that anybody in Kansas City has found a solution to an inordinate amount of violence and death on local streets.
