GOLDEN GHETTO TEEN WON'T APOLOGIZE FOR INSULTING GOV. BROWNBACK TWEET!!!

She's a little too young for me but it's still hard not admire an 18 year-old JoCo Tweeter who is standing up for her right to say that The Gov. Of Kansas "blowsalot"

At the very least . . . TKC would like to express solidarity with young women getting nasty on the Internets. STAND UP!!!

Even better she's unapologetic and now famous for her insolence . . . This could be either the greatest or worst thing to ever happen to Free Speech for those of us who don't already understand that pretty white girls can do whatever they want . . .

Teen won't apologize to Brownback

A Kansas teenager who wrote a disparaging tweet about Gov. Sam Brownback is rejecting her high school principal's demand that she apologize.

Star Opinion: Maybe teen's tweet holds a lesson for Brownback, too

The Washington Post: Teen whose tweet about Kan. gov. got her in trouble at school refuses to write apology letter

  1. good for her. but it's too bad she actually lied in her original tweet when she said she had spoken to brownback in person. what does that say about her integrity?

  2. What the fuck is that giant building behind her?

Is she going to school at Hogwarts?

  3. Mouthy-assed little bitch should be forced to apologize. Whatever happened to "respect your elders" and other sage advice?? I think she "blows-a-lot" of high school boys....

  4. to bad she has no clue on the issues.

  5. issues don't matter there is a thing called the First amendment, we do not have to agree with her but have to defend her right to say it!

  6. Good for her!

  7. If anybody should apologize it is her sister who used her and the media to blow this out of proportion. Then maybe the media who ran with it. Then the gov who responded to it. I am sure this girl is loving all the "attention" for now, but fact remains, when you insult someone and are called on it, the civil thing to do is apologize. This girl, her sister, and obviously her parents have no respect for the office. Civics 101 just because you did not vote for them doesn't give free reign to denigrate them.
In the end - it's true, blame the parents on this one.

  8. Funny, the Republicans can call Obama everything but the N word and that is just fine. Yet a teenager speaks her mind and suddenly someone is owed an apology.

I live in Kansas and I think Brownback blows ass. Fuck you bully Governor, you can't do a damn thing about my opinion.

    Yes, it does.

  10. I guess the Gov is illegal?11/28/11, 7:27 AM

Brownback is most upset over the fact that she compared him to sodomy in KS.

  11. I'd like to fuck her mouth!

  12. 7:38 you are disgusting.
As much as I hate to agree with Byron, yes she does have the right to speak her mind and tweet to her friends whatever she thinks. However there may be someting to what 7:16 says in that she is being used as a pawn to promote something here. It really makes you wonder how a tweet going to 65 people ended up on cnn without some outside influence. Welcome to the seamy side of politics and media Emma. Welcome to the manipulation of innocent acts of free speech. You are now a saint or a villain depending on the readers point of view. Sad to be labeled at such a young age.

  13. Dear Sam B.@ 7:38-

You, me, and Tony B. at the stip club to see her on the pole. 1st round is on me.

  14. Byron is SPOT ON!! One would think that with Boeing making noise about leaving Kansas and the USPS closing a big plant in Topeka, The Gov would have more important things to deal with than this kid. But then maybe he needs a distraction. It's come to a point with the repubs where it's only free speech if they agree with the speech.

Free speech set it's own limits when the first caveman grunted the wrong way at a bigger and larger caveman wielding a club.
