With respect to our homegirl Katie . . .
KCTV5 News announces the hiring of Chris Suchan as the station's chief meteorologist.
"Suchan is joining the StormTrack 5 weather team from WTSP in Tampa, FL. Suchan offers both enthusiasm and experience in covering weather."
He's not quite as hot or athletic as the old girl he's replacing . . . But we like his haircut . . .
Developing . . .
has he seen snow before?
ReplyDeletehas he seen a tornado outbreak before?
ReplyDeletewhat a phoney smile...looks like he's a butt fucking fag. byron and radioman will like him though!
ReplyDeleteJust about anyone would better than Climax Katie.
ReplyDeleteA toothy grin like this one should endear him in the eastside black community. I predict a big ratings spike for KCTV.
ReplyDeleteGey.
ReplyDeleteNo sir, I don't like it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Jack harry before the senility.
ReplyDeleteHas he made up stories about tornado outbreaks before in order to gin up raitings and get some air-time because damn if I have not grown used to that!
ReplyDeleteAll KC weather guys have to be cocksuckers, ask Lezak and Busby. When they do not have their mouths full they will give you an answer; however, don't believe it because the both signed contracts that forbid them from coming out.
ReplyDeleteNow if the weather ladies would do more cocksucking, they would spend less time blown up like weather balloons -- except for Lisa Teachman who may not be from this galaxy and therefore probably cannot breed but she almost has human speech down to a "T."
Almost. If human speech sounds like the first Mac.
Lolz on the Teachman comments. That's good stuff right there.
ReplyDeleteI have zero problems with gay folks, but I gotta admit, it is kinda weird that Kansas City has so many gay weather guys.
ReplyDeleteIs he actually a "Meteorologist" or are they just calling him that -- just like they did with "Run for cover" Katie. Katie has a "Marketing" degree.
ReplyDeleteWell at least he was married in 2006 to an actress,Kara Edwards, although that still doesn't mean he's not gay. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kara_Edwards
ReplyDeleteDear Mr. Tony: A lot of people around town attacked Katie for being "alarmist." I wonder how those doctors, nurse and staff at the that hospital in Joplin who got five minutes of warning that a massive tornado was going to strike feel about "alarmist" weather reporters. Probably they have the same respect for "alarmist" weather reporters as the people in New Oreleans do for the "alarmists" in the Army Corps of Engineers who for decades warned city officials to spend money to strengthen the levees because they would break in a major storm. Katie--you deserve a better world--you at least have the sense to know that it is not the end of the world if you miss your favorite TV show--but it will be, literally, the end of the world if an F-5 tornado strikes your home without you taking cover. Best of luck in getting a new job!! Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans
ReplyDeleteWe needs a blacks weatherman.
ReplyDeleteHe could be:
ReplyDelete1. A TV Weatherman.
2. A Mormon missionary.
3. A former MU football player who now sells mutual funds.
The guy probably heard that he got some press on this TKC site he's never heard of, took a few minutes to check in... only to see that he's being called a cocksucker and worse by the denziens and various slobs of the TKC Nation.
ReplyDelete5:11, you're right. Go make him feel better about TKC. Go massage his balls...he'll like that from you.
ReplyDeletetough room. jeez, give the guy a break. at least wait until he gets on-air here before you crucify him.
ReplyDeletebut i'll say this... if he doesn't have some background with weather in this part of the country, he's going to be on a steep learning curve.
Ernie, it is not as if Katie was the only one who saw the F-5 closing in on Joplin.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with Katie was that she saw Tornados and Blizzards lurking around every corner - perhaps because she got air time and ratings out of the deal.
What if Joplin had listened to Katie raise false alarms over and over again, so they did not take cover like so many people around this media market?
Either her inability to make reasonable forecasts or her lust for airtime was putting people at risk.
I rarely watch local TV news, but I tuned into Channel 4 last night.
ReplyDeleteIt's shameless how they're handling the Baby Lisa story, and they hyped the squirrel running across the baseball field until I thought I was going to puke.
Katie has saved me a lot of time. Whenever I heard a storm I'd tune in to Channel 5 and if she hadn't commandeered the airwaves, I knew nothing serious was going on in the Central US.
ReplyDeleteThis morning's Star quotes Channel 5 as saying this guy is not an alarmist.
It also says Katie has not commented on why she is leaving. By the way, WHEN is she leaving?
i know him. sorry to disappoint, but he is not gay.
