This pair of topics could be almost as important as Jordan Carver:
Are we just repeating the same mistakes? This will have to suffice for a Kansas City education win: West regains presidency of KC school board
Secondly . . .
Are Kansas City Taxpayers getting their money's worth? Should Kansas City Eliminate the Earnings Tax?
Full Disclosure:
TKC Supported The E-Tax because removing it without a REAL plan to replace it was fiscally irresponsible. Very much like my lifetime subscription to The Jerky Of The Month Club.
TKC is skeptical of all politicos but generally thinks KCMSD Board Prez Airick L. West is tirelessly dedicating his life to a thankless job for no money that will end in FAIL. . . Kinda like this blog. So, like it or not, I guess that makes us kindred spirits . . . Much more so than all of the Ward Parkway Corridor Crowd who golf clap a nice speech but never seem to be part of any solution that doesn't involve a cocktail party.
Sorry, that's about as uplifting as I get . . . Anyhoo . . .
What do you d-bags think?
Under no circumstances should West be allowed back as president of the School Board. No education, no job, no shower. What on earth does this idiot bring to the table? He's black. So what, so are millions of others and more qualified to boot. Well, now you have this corn rowed asshole back on the board..YOU deal with him. The rest of the "scholars" are now getting educated elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteHe will soon be like some ousted third world leader that lives in a new country pretending to still be president. The District will be effectively disbanded with few students and all its funds going to surrounding districts.
ReplyDeleteA real plan? Tony, get real yourself. This city government tosses money around like Paris Hilton and it has about the same brain power. You would have thought raising the issue would have brought about a little humility. Instead these clowns came out, guns blazing, with more useless crap than ever.
ReplyDeleteSorry but West is just another in the long parade of grey-suited grifters bringing a choice of cancer or polio to the inner-city.
ReplyDeleteSerious allegations were raised about his conduct regarding contractors yet there was never any sunshine or fresh air for the charges to be exposed or disproved.
Just the same old Greek chorus of yousas and amens.
You can rob the people with a pistol or a fountain pen, the grifters who represent their own interests are firmly in control of the situation.
Politics: A strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles. The conduct of public affairs for private advantage.
Ambrose Bierce
I'm sure TKC is happy that we're over the short time that some apeople were actually interested in the students and back to the drama of egos. personalities, and hanger-on who have made KCMO and the school district so successful.
ReplyDeleteThe city south of the river is emptying out, violence and homicides are increasing, the enrollment in KCMDS will plummet this coming January, and the "adults" fight over who's going to be THE MAN.
Why don't companies or residents want to locate in KCMO?
So they just put the fox back in the hen house. Should that surprise anyone? This school board has destroyed this school district. Might as well keep West and his little monster scholars around to make sure the district stays in the dumps. How sad.
ReplyDeleteSad news.
ReplyDeleteCNN is reporting that Jordan Carver's tits exploded this afternoon.
Two guys suffered severe burns to the lips, and windows were broken in a nearby pawn shop.
Anyone hear him on uh kctv this morning? UH Uh Uh Uh Uh. This is the president?
ReplyDeleteThe woman's boobs are gonna put someone's eye out. You'll see...I warned ya!
