TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! PREVIEW OF KCK RAINBOW MR. GOODCENTS!!! YES THERE'S A COKE FREESTYLE MACHINE ON SITE!!!

Lunch today was THE AWEOMSE because I spent it ahead of line of all the wretched plebs who don't have blogs. Nice . . .

One day before the opening TKC had something better than a gas station snack cake for lunch and earned an EXCLUSIVE TOUR of the new Mr. Goodcents soon to be opening on Rainbow Blvd. in KCK.

Seriously, this is fine dining that TKC can appreciate, I think the hottie PR lady who hooked me up is probably a genius and would be dating me if she was like 100lbs heavier with no self-esteem.

Anyhoo . . .  I really did have a nice time and noticed the crowd was pretty excited about the new addition to the local food ave . . .

It was waaaaaaaay nicer than the old school KFC that recently departed.

Best of all I was able to do a quick interview with Mr. Goodcents himself, Dave Goebel - the CEO and he talked to TKC about the new location.

"I think one of the many reasons why we'll be able to succeed is that we have a product that's perceived to be healthier and we're changing our menu and testing new items that haven't been seen in this area."

The Rainbow Mr. Goodceents will feature salads and wraps instead of pasta which other local stores haven't worked into their repertoire just yet.

And here's the news that concerns TKC because it's a place that I'll actually visit . . .

THE MR. GOODCENTS ON RAINBOW HAS A COVETED COKE FREESTYLE MACHINE!!!

I tried it out and realized that the carbonated goodness apparatus is more than just hype. It's the future of soda.
It is the future.

Seriously, neither coke nor Mr. Goodcents paid me . . . In fact, I just dream of a day when the revolution comes and I can take one of these machines back to my (mom's) basement.

Yeah, across from KU Med this place is probably a pretty big win and the drive thru and delivery options mean that it'll be a TKC date night luxury for a lucky divorced lady out there . . . But seeing the Coke Freestyle tech in action in some place that's not a trendy spot was the real win for this afternoon and just a sign that there is just a bit of hope amid The Great Recession.
