Welcome to life in The Great Recession . . . And here's a sad reality for the people of Northeast.
INSIDERS SAY THAT IT'S VERY UNLIKELY THAT CORINTHIAN HALL IS GONNA GET THE CASH THEY THEY NEED TO REOPEN!!!
Corinthian Hall has already spent $10 million and they need millions more to finish the project. The reality of this economy and fund-raising resources in Kansas City is that there just isn't the will to get this project completed given the cost.
REAL TALK . . . SOME OF THE SMARTEST PEOPLE IN NORTHEST TOLD THE FOLKS AT THE MUSEUM THAT IF THEY CLOSED, THEY WOULD NEVER REOPEN AND NOW IT LOOKS LIKE THAT PROPHESY JUST MIGHT COME TO PASS!!!
It get's worse . . .
INSIDERS SAY THAT SCARRITT RENAISSANCE ACTIVISTS NEED TO BE CALLED OUT FOR THIS FUNDRAISING EFFORT GIVEN THAT THE MUSEUM IS RIGHT IN THEIR BACK YARD AND THEY HAVE A PENCHANT FOR BOSSING THE REST OF THE NORTHEAST AROUND!!!
And that brings our old friend Will Royster back into the mix . . . It just might be time for him to find his fundraising hat . . .

Seriously though . . . Insiders know that the cost overruns for the redevelopment of this place will just keep coming. And there's word that the report of this bad news was kept on hold for nearly a year. That's never a good sign.
Luckily, there are some good ideas about the future of this place and we'll have more on this topic very soon . . .
DEVELOPING . . .
Baloney.
ReplyDelete"Insiders say?" Socrates needs to know who they are for your viewpoint to carry any validity.
ReplyDeleteListen not to a tale-bearer or slanderer, for he tells nothing out of good will; but as he discovereth of the secrets of others, so he will of thine in turn.
when's the opening date?
ReplyDeleteGO FIGURE! Another election year. Another Pro-Rizzo story followed by another Anti-Royster story.
ReplyDeleteThe trend continues...
It ain't just Royster. Unfortunately, you can't hang this one on Bushnell, either. You have to go way back on this one to when the power brokers decided to link Union Station to Corinthian Hall. Back then, the board of Union Station syphoned money from Corinthian Hall's budget to cover expenses related to promoting and developing Science City. David Ucko is the jack ass you really oughta look at. He tricked the rich folks running Union Station very well and the city propped up one landmark at the risk of losing another one. Nobody is going to buy that place and nobody can afford to fix it. It's now just going to be a creepy, old, empty mansion reflecting a bygone era.
ReplyDeleteTony you couldn't be more obvious with this STRETCH of a hit piece on Royster.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Louie will drop his lawsuit against you if you keep promoting Repo Rizzo.
Tony, how you doing babe. Today I want you to run a Pro-Johnny Joe story. Then follow it up like you did all last year with a hit piece on that Royster. If they takes Pendleton Heights out of our district, Nicky won't be able to stuff these ballots no more and we lose all 40 Somalis and the second votes they cast as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks babe. You're a good kid.
Old Man Rizzo
Isn't Royster on the board of the Museum?
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm pretty sure this wasn't a hit piece. Tony just likes Royster's hat. Who doesn't?
I'd say if Royster was on a board that raised $10 million to help Corinthian, that is pretty damn good.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the board can take a payday loan out from the Rizzo family. Afterall, Johnny Joe took the right vote and capped interest rates at 965%.
tear it down.
ReplyDeleteEasy solution we are saved Royster needs to just raise another 50 million. Haaaaaahoooooohaaaaahoooo
ReplyDeleteRoyster if the above is going to be your campaign ,in simple words you will lose. You can't keep putting the same con together you get caught numbskull
ReplyDeletelol @ 8:59
ReplyDeleteRoyster is trapped in the Northeast. His inheritance is based on his living in the family home. He has no skills. He has no friends. He has not personality.
ReplyDeleteHe cannot move unless he is willing to give up his trust fund and deal with the real world.
Royster is in jail.
Wow so Royster is still living on Daddy's money, no wonder he has so much time on his hands.
ReplyDeleteThe only "Trust" for Royster is shown to have legally terminated nearly 30 years ago, so Royster doesn't have a Trust Fund - or any residence required from an inheritance. At least not in Missouri. It shows that he sold lots of property in Malibu, Ca., then returned to Northeast from Malibu, to live in the district (unlike it's current representative or his key voters).
ReplyDeleteI think He demonstrated willingness and success in helping improve that area, but too many people (with money interests in Northeast's continued failure) opposed him, and Rizzo is the puppet of failure.
Rizzo is attacking Royster 1 year out for a reason. Royster hasn't even announced as a candidate!
ReplyDeleteRizzo has to find a way to make up the 15% of his vote he is going to lose after redistricting and then the other 25% of his vote that magically appeared during a recount.
Simple words: Without dad stealing his election. He's one and done.
Put a fork in him.
10:00 PM (Rizzo)
ReplyDeleteRoyster isn't "trapped anywhere". In fact, it's the opposite. Royster has actually done things to help Northeast. Rizzo has to pretend to live in Northeast every other year for the last decade.
Section 8 welcome!
ReplyDeleteCorinthian Hall would be an AWESOME Newhouse Shelter.
ReplyDeleteIf they try to turn Corinthian Hall into a home for prostitutes that would be the end of Rizzo.
ReplyDeleteIs Rizzo still reliving last year? Really? Had he spent more time doing work than sucking dick he wouldn't have to.
