The e-tax is idiotic. Anyone can see that.
ReplyDeleteThe last time he will address the Chamber.
ReplyDeleteOne of the few business leaders in the KC metro area that understands economics. Too bad politicians never listen to him.
ReplyDeleteThe E-tax is here to stay. Kansas Citians love to concept of getting someone else to pay for things. It's a component of each and every big campaign for some new amenity.
ReplyDelete329 Nails it!! The only problem is KC keeps losing jobs so that tax base is shrinking.
ReplyDeleteThat's why the state of MO has to keep giving business tax credits to stay.
ReplyDeleteHoenig is an idiot. I have low hopes that his replacement will be much better.
ReplyDeleteGood thing we passed the E-tax remember how we we're told in April how the town would shut down? Then after it passed we have money to burn on stupid fucking water parks, hotels we don't need. Big Pay raises for the KCFD Union boys.
ReplyDeleteWE were LIED to.
Thank God Democrats run this city! If Republicans ever got into power, the streets and water departments would become a mess, minorities would have really high unemployment rates, there would be a bunch of derelict buildings, big pricey attractions would be built that we can't support. Oh, it would be terrible!
