TKC EXCLUSIVE QUESTION!!! WHAT DOES KYLE JAMES ALLEGEDLY PUNCHING SOME LADY HAVE TO DO WITH THE CREDIBILITY OF KANSAS CITY MAYOR SLY JAMES?!?!

Enough bragging about the story we teased (i.e. broke) so expertly yesterday morning.

I could talk all day about why TKC TECHNIQUE makes up for my rather obvious shortcomings and has brought some of the most gully blonde, chubby white women my way.

We need to discuss what's important to Kansas City.

So I put it to you d-bags . . .

DO THE ALLEGED ANTICS OF KYLE JAMES HAVE ANY IMPACT ON THE CREDIBILITY OF KANSAS CITY MAYOR SLY JAMES!!!

Remember that during the Plaza Rioting and curfew hot mess the discussion delved into the topic of parenting quite frequently.

And then we need to make it plain . . . Somebody ALLEGEDLY running around punching white women isn't going to work out well for ANYBODY even remotely involved.

But Kansas City simply can't afford to have a Mayor with no credibility on crime. However, it's a fact of life that so many volunteers, activists, leaders who have the best intentions about stopping VIOLENCE in Kansas City simply can't keep their own house in order.

I'm pretty sure that's why my mom locked this basement door long ago . . . Crisis averted.

Anyhoo . . .

THE ANSWER BELONGS TO KANSAS CITY!!! AGAIN . . . HAVE THE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST KYLE JAMES COST THE MAYOR CREDIBILITY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST KANSAS CITY VIOLENCE?!?!?

It's important to allow the young dude his day in court, the only thing I really don't want to hear his him apologize again.

  3. No, the latest Kyle incident doesn't affect the mayor's efforts to curb violence in KCMO. His lack of speaking out, his support of not-for-profits like Aim4Peace, his hanging out with old grifters like Al Brooks, and his reluctance to lead on the issue are what's curbed his influence on this critical issue.
As long as you do things the old ways with the same old folks, you're going to get the same results. Sly needs to make a "Bill Cosby" speech and commit the city's efforts to helping responsible residetns on the east side.

  4. Was it his girlfiriend, or did he just "Knockout King" some chick???

  5. Eesh, this is a tough one. Yesterday news also broke about Obama's uncle getting a DUI, and I thought "Why should I care, really?" However, the soapboxing about parental responsiblity makes this kinda ironic, doesn't it? However, a lot of the P.R. talk involved children who should have been at home, whose parents should have known where they were, what they were doing, who they were with, etc. Kyle is an adult, at least legally. At what point can parents stop being responsible for their children's actions? We can debate Nature vs Nurture all day, or we can use what happened as a (flimsy) mark against the mayor.

  6. I do think it is important to establish the facts.

Did Kyle, at any time, tell her to shut up before he punched her?

There are always two sides to every story.

    If she was warned..., well...

  7. If he used his "Pimp Hand", it should be a misdemeanor.

    Just sayin...

  8. The guy just needs a good ass kicking. It's obvious daddy didn't lay a hand on this fool growing up. Hey Chuck, it doesn't matter. A man doesn't punch a woman because she refuses to shut up. Hope she files a lawsuit and gets some money from this asshole.

  12. 5:42 wakes up every day, yawns, gets outta bed, walks over to his computer, logs on, get on TKC, goes to the first available comment section, punches in, "I hate you Tony", goes and makes coffee, goes to work.

    See ya tomorrow!

  16. Kyle's attention getting antics are also embarrassing to his family (especially his public figure dad) and Kyle knows it. There are some deep-rooted father/son issues at play here. Most people would straighten up and fly straight after the first incident of public humiliation. Instead, Kyle seems to thrive in it. Look for more similiar behavior in the future from this dysfunctional kid......unless Sly and/or a skilled psychiatrist steps in.

  17. But he hangs with chiefs players. That makes him cool right??? Lol. If a chiefs player is going to the point he must be a real winner . The point is a shit hole. Hopefully someone stomps a mudhole in the mayors sons ass some night. Beat him like he deserves

  18. Why do you keep referring to what that racist nigger Alonso says or does? About the only thing he is expert on is bilking the system for a free ride while annoying everybody with his endless racial crap. For gods sake he is so stupid he has to glue his hair on.

  19. How old is this Larry Johnson in the making? If he's a legal adult, then no; if he's under 18, then yes.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Wow, what a piece of work. First he walks into every bar in town and tries to cash in on the, "my dad's the mayor line." Then he punches a chick in the face?

That's just trashy. I have to go with 7:57 on this.

  21. Just another day of violence in kansas city.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Here's what it has to do with Sly James:

James is mayor and a member of the police board.

Kyle has, on at least one occasion, indicated he can get away with things because of he is the son of the mayor.

  23. Put the punk in the ring the next time they have MMA at the P&L. He will probably run around the cage yelling for daddy. Wonder which half of him is the violent one? Might be fun to watch. His white half will give the glass jaw, his other half his running ability.

  24. I'm surprised his Marine father hasn't suggested MCRD San Diego as a place for him to learn some...humility.

  27. So what are you suggesting, Chuck... that a woman has a right to deball and harrange her man with no recourse?

SOmetimes I think women hide their nastiness behind their own skirts! They act like the C word and then if you smack em (which is a man's way of dealing with conflict), they protest (whining, 'oh!!! he HIT me!!)

    ReplyDelete
  28. 10:23, you are a stupid, coward, white nigger.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well, that beats being a black nigger...the original type..

    ReplyDelete
  30. Radioman, the solution is not to
know' a woman who would 'deball and harrange her man'. Kyle could have walked away & never looked back.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Why should he let her win like that? Because he's a 'bigger man than she is'? I think many women like to use a fish knife on men knowing society will let her.

Lets get down to the issue here.

    ReplyDelete
  32. These incidents with Kyle James could be solved only if he had weekend activities to do such as a community center to hang out at instead of going out to bars and causing trouble (sarcasm).

    Haha What a Joke!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Radioman, I agree with your last sentence. If a woman hits a man & he hits her back he will be the one arrested. If he walks away then he is the one who wins, because he doesn't know her anymore. Your not stuck with your 'woman', you get to choose. Young people don't choose carefully enough. They marry &/or have children when they are still strangers who are merely sexually attracted to each other.

  34. Thug, thug, thug, thug, ...... Oh, is he a member of local 42?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Rman.

I too have dropped many a bitch right in their tracks when they don't shut up.

    Your killin me.

Actually, in truth, overr my life time, I have had girls hit me repeatedly, but it didn't amount to much. Kinda funny.

Had a chick one time, get my .22 off of the dresser and take a shot at me. It went directly behind me, ass high, into a wall (I was living in Prarie Village at the time, 1984). I moved pretty fast, hit her upside the head with my left hand and she got a black eye.

After I got the gun back, I apologised (I was madly in love with this chick actually, and didn't give a shit if she was shooting at me or not, you shoulda seen her, whew!).

She was mad at me (I wasn't paying enough attention to her.), because I was reading a book by a guy named Peter Capstick, who had left his stock broker job, and went to Africa to hunt big game, no shit. Great books. It was called "Death in the Long Grass".

For me, "Death in the Long Grass" meant NO MORE ASS for me. She left that night, and I never got her back.

I had already been shot before, and it didn't kill me. I remember thinking as the weeks went by, that maybe it woulda been better if I was hit.

    Some sympathy love, ya know?

    :)

    Oh well...

    She was something else.

  36. DEar Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting this info. Let us let the legal process work it's way out--in these sorts of cases there are usually two sides; everyone, including the mayor's son, deserves due proces. There have been enough disasters in KCMO in recent years from people "rushing to judgment"--need I mention all of the frantic calls for Dr. Covington to "please, please" stay in KCMO when the story of his resignation first broke? All of those pleading individuals who "rushed to judgment" now correctly look foolish. Take care. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans

  38. I don't know if this affects Mayor James' credibility or not, but it certainly doesn't do much for his image.

However, what I really wanted to mention is I find it funny, Tony, that you always seemed to have something negative to say about former Mayor Funkhouser's daughter when he was Mayor. The implication being that her behavior (out partying too much, or living back at home with her boyfriend - who you were quick to point out happened to be African-American)somehow adversely affected the credibility of her father.

I know you are a private citizen, but if you want to have any credibility as a commenter on news, at least TRY and possess a shred of balanced opinion.

  39. Dear Mr James (Sly),
You have a problem on your hands. It is not a political problem. It is a serious family matter. Your family is still in crisis. Your son Kyle is a jerk who may have substance abuse issues. Your son Kyle has great disrespect for you and your wife. Your son Kyle is out of control.
You and your wife should make this evolving mess a priority. Your son Kyle is 23 years old. This type of behavior did not start 4 months ago. What were you thinking when you ran for office? You had to have known that any family after the disastrous Funkhousers would be under scrutiny. Have you put your professional ambitions up front and center and your family in second place?
The digging into your family was triggered the moment your son Kyle threatened the KCPD officer's job.

  41. Kansas City a cesspool of crime and violence.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I agree, 1:01. Family should always come first. That's the problem with much of the KC population - the disintegration of the family structure. And no family structure at all. Don't try to fix someone else's house (the public's) when you ignore your own. And no, I am not a Republican.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Let's see. Dumpy "strawberry blonde" (Caucasian victim is 22, 5'2, 160 lbs) dancing in a bar with slick,money-flashing black males on the make for white chicks, what a sad stereotype of each.

Let me guess. The family will announce that the troubled youth has entered a treatment center for unspecified personal issues, and that they ask for our prayers and their privacy at this difficult time.

The victim will also plead for privacy, although her own past police record will surface any day.

Meanwhile, the case will devolve into re-victimization of the victim by portraying her as a money-grabbing (Did someone say Kansas City Chief?) low-class slut who started a fight between two drunk men in a bar. The story, I'm sure, will be that she was accidentally injured when the suspect was actually trying to protect her and that she is a lying gold-digger. It will end up with a slap on the wrist for the Junior Mayor because...well, for a lot of reasons, and I, for one, think that is a good thing because I want him back out on the streets - admit it, you do too - where he can cause even more fun and brighten our future days by his continuing escapades among the commoners.

Btw, are you sure that pic on here is him because...

    #1. He's yellow
#2. He looks like a punk.
#3. He also looks like a Muslim terrorist.

Some friends of mine from the hood think he's funny. So funny that they would like him to come to some of the bars that they frequent and try his comedy act on them.

    Really.
